Tranquil Treehouse Cottage, King Bed, River View

Nestled on a hillside overlooking the tributary to the Potomac this glammed out cottage has everything you need for a romantic getaway. Immersed just outside the tall glass walls is a private deck overlooking a forest for miles. Keep an eye out for wildlife, you might get lucky and see a couple of bald eagles on your visit. Enjoy indoor or outdoor shower. The treehouse is completely private and equipped with wifi, kitchen, king bed and more. Looking forward to your stay!

The space
This is 5-Star live-able art, built from years of reclaimed lumber and timber raised and cut on the property and constructed to be private. Your only complaint will be having to go home the next day :). Cleaning precautions for everyone are taken to extreme lengths. All linens, pillows,ect Completely removed and cleaned. All surfaces receive commercial disinfectant and upon the request of the guest we can cordinate fogging services, extended vacancies prior to stays ect. We apologize in advance that some normal things are removed completely like printed house manuals ect. We ask that you remove all trash and a few other things upon departing to help us stay safe as well.

Other things to note
Steep steps and loft style bedroom. The driveway can be difficult in large vehicles and snow. Internet cannot be guaranteed if there is a problem with the provider.

This rental is managed by Waterford Reservations LLC, when booking this property all guest acknowledge that any and all disputes, settlements ect will soley be made with Waterford Reservations LLC, Air BNB and no others for any reason.

Super Dreamy Cabin in the Woods

We stayed here for a long weekend for our mini Covid honeymoon and had a glorious time. Everything about this cabin is amazing, the pictures do not do it justice. We loved spending time in the main room with all it’s glorious windows looking out over the trees and the small creek down the hill. The indoor/outdoor shower was also super lovely. The hosts were also very communicative and helpful! Thanks for a great stay!

Weekend Trip was OK for Us

My husband & I stayed here for a weekend getaway, but unfortunately our trip was cut short due to a family emergency. The property manager was understanding. The cottage was not necessarily “our” type of place, but that doesn’t mean that it wouldn’t be for others. We liked the unique shower and cute kitchen area! Unfortunately, the bed on the floor upstairs was less-than comfortable. Being in a wooded area, it would be nice to have the bed & boxspring off the floor to help keep bugs out of the bed (we saw a spider in the bed when the sheets were first pulled back). It was also a little disappointing to be about 10 mins. from the main road— all uneven gravel roads leading to the cottage, please be aware! The window AC unit upstairs (only one in the cottage) was also a bit loud. It would be nice if the bed & AC amenities were updated for the comfort of guests, especially for the price paid. Thank you for considering this!
