"Falling Waters is an amazing property that can comfortably and easily accommodate a large group. The house has high-quality furnishings and an incredibly well-stocked kitchen. The garage game room and hot tub were especially big hits with the teens in our group, and we loved spending time at Rumbling Bald Resort. Though the resort wasn't what caused us to choose this property, it ended up being one of our favorite perks of staying there! The house is perched high above a stream, and rocking in one of the screened-in porches while soaking up the sound and forest view was a highlight of each day. Marsh was a great host and very quick to respond. We had some unexpected one-off issues (surprises to us and to him), and he dealt with them as quickly and thoroughly as he could. I would definitely recommend Falling Waters - it's a fantastic escape, and if you're like us, you'll find it hard to pull yourselves away at the end of your rental!"

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our families had an amazing long weekend at this home. It was thoughtfully designed with comfortable gathering spaces for everyone, giving both adults and teens plenty of room to spread out and enjoy themselves. Fishing from morning to evening was a favorite activity, and we had a great time playing pool and listening to music in the downstairs entertainment area.The community amenities were an added bonus, especially the pool, pickleball courts, and basketball courts. Great golfing was close by, and we enjoyed visiting Chimney Rock. The home itself is beautifully decorated and feels like a luxurious mountain retreat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, highly recommend this property, and would love to return someday."

"This was our second time at Mountain Laurel Lookout, and it did not disappoint! This cabin is by far the most comfortable, well-laid out, and well supplied place we’ve stayed in. But the very best part is the BEAUTIFUL views! We spent so much of our time on the deck just soaking in the majesty around us! My family literally never wants to leave the cabin! ALSO, we had a tornado warning while we were there. Candace called to check on us, told us where to go for safety, and then let us know when the danger was over. Their care and concern was very appreciated! Thank you, Millers! Looking forward to our next visit!"

"Stay was nice. We would stay there again.I noticed a few minor things that need attention...Grass overgrown near fire pit. Seems the grass has not been cut around the fire pit for at least 2-3 weeks. Grass at 10-12" in that area. Ended up not making a fire due to the overgrown grass and the heavy concentration of mosquitos living in this overgrown grass area.Refrigerator internal storage door is broken and fell out multiple times while opening the refrigerator.Pool table pool cues all need replaced. Current pool cues are falling apart.No light near dart board that I could see. Corner is very dark. Darts in pieces in another drawer. No darts ready to play. Ended up not playing"
