Canalta Hotel Cochrane

"What a great location. We used this as a basecamp for a couple of daily drives up to the mountains and were not disappointed. Quick and easy to get to the number 1 and further west. Affordable and close to quick and easy food options. I also couldn't recommend the hotel enough if you are bringing a dog with you on the trip. You can literally see the off leash dog park from outside the hotel. Anyone who has traveled with their dog knows the problems of concrete wastelands and finding a few square feet for grass so your dog can do their business. Walks were substituted for a loop at the park which was perfect for us and our schedule."

"Two of us had an excellent stay for just over a week. The host Iraj gave very clear instructions and was very responsive. They even reached out to make sure everything was ok when we had plans to stay in Banff for one night. We had everything we needed, and was a very affordable stay compared to anything in Banff, especially during larch season. I would highly recommend this place."

"Perfect location if you want to get away from the high dollar accommodations closer to Banff. It took approximately an hour to travel to our destinations each day .We would have enjoyed additional televisions as everyone does not have the same taste in programming. A better cable or satellite system that carried live sports would have been nice also. Additional washcloths are needed. We appreciated being able to do our laundry there. Thank you for your hospitality."

"Beautiful property with picturesque views. Listed as advertised, could have added a couple more pictures to include the hot tub and murphy bed. Had some issues with the stove, fridge was making odd sounds & woke up the house. Mostly things that need some upkeep. Property would be glorious with some necessary repairs and maintenance. Overall great time. Quiet. Just would like more communication with the owners. They did not reply to messages or calls and check-in was easy but not well communicated."
