Wassama Round House State Historic Park

Older no thrills hotel near the airport. Staff was friendly and were able to help me whem my plans changed. Ended up staying only one night but worth the price and location couldn't have been more convenient

The location was great but for the price it was underwhelming. It was cute but was pretty noisy and I could hear every footstep of the person in the room above us and the shower of the room next to us.

1) The provided Continental Breakfast was okay. Hot Station: Eggs were not made from fresh eggs, runny and tasteless. Sausage patties were okay, but salty. Bread: it was dry. We’d rather like to have a variety of bread such as bagels or buns. However the muffins were good. Coffee: it’s more like brown water that smells like coffee especially the decafs. 2) Room: We found a bag of smelly trash under the sink that was left by the previous occupants. In addition, the carpet area around the nightstand was sticky with some sort of candy that stuck to the sole of my slippers. I had to pry out a little piece of candy from my slippers. The mattress is rock hard and so are the pillows. After 3 nights there, my back is in agony. Our room is on the third floor and we could hear footsteps from the above floor. Tissue paper was not adequately provided as we had to get a tissue box from the front desk after a couple of times used. 3) The staff was helpful and courteous.
