Cozy and comfortable

Drove up from Anchorage for a short getaway and was greeted by the beautiful view of lake Lucille with ducks and other birds! After watching sunset from the deck of my cabin, took short walk to Bearpaw Brewing for dinner and drinks. Woke in the morning to the scene of a gorgeous winter wonderland as it snowed lightly while I slept. It was as expected and better! So comfortable and cozy! Thank you ❤️

Stunning Cozy Retreat!

We stayed at the Stillwater Cottages during a wind storm that left our home without power or water. Our cottage was such a special retreat in the storm, and was a clean, cozy and beautiful space to hide away in. The sunsets over the lake were stunning, and our space felt so private and calm. We spent many hours in front of the inviting fireplace! Colleen and Mark truly thought of everything you could need, and you could feel their personal and intentional touch throughout the cottage. We didn’t get a chance to try out the sauna, but we know that would’ve been the icing on the cake!

Comfy getaway for the family

The cottage was perfect for our family of 4. The view was amazing and having the ability to use the sauna or have a night fire added an extra touch. Any questions were answered quickly and we had no problems during our stay. You're close enough to any necessities but its on the outside of town to give a quiet peaceful feeling. We heard the train one night but it was quick and truly didn't bother us.
