Washington-Slagbaai National Park

We booked a renovated deluxe oceanfront room for a week in August 2026. Highlights of the resort were the friendly front desk, security, restaurant and bar staff, views, snorkeling directly from the resort, proximity to town, pools, comfortable beds and quality of the food at the restaurants. Lowlights were the malfunctioning AC in our first assigned room (which was running but not cooling), the sewer smell and drain flies in the bathroom of our second assigned room (we killed at least 50 over 5 days) and the condition of the bathroom (for example mildew in the grout, loose toilet seat and rusty door stop). Overall, we give the resort 4 out of 5 stars for our stay.
