Wonderful hotel, clean, comfortable and friendly staff. All walking distance from Foggy Bottom, GW ave many DC attractions.
The only negative is there is a bar (Casta's) right below and which has seating on the alley between buildings which causes a LOT of noise up to midnight for rooms facing that direction. Btw the bar itself is great (if you can't beat them - join them!) I just wish I knew this before check-in.
This hitel is a gem!!! Location is perfect and near to both George Washington and Georgetown Universities. There are tons of places to eat nearby. Its been my choice for the past four years.
Room was clean, spacious and A/C worked really well. Beds and pillows were so comfortable. Great location, close to metro and close to a number of cafe’s and restaurants.
Likes:
Clean room polite and helpful staff
Dislikes:
Noisy air conditioner in room
No dishes or utensils in room
Some noise from bar at night but it didn't go too late
Overall the short stay I had over 2 days was pleasant. The rooms are decently sized and the rooms were clean. Breakfast is downstairs but it’s al a carte not included and charged to the room. Location is in the middle of downtown not too far from many landmarks, nice restaurants and coffee shops. No on-site parking but garages are near by. Staff was nice and hospitable.
The rooms were quiet, spacious, clean and comfortable. Traveled with family of 2 teens- so 4 adult size people were comfy in room with 2 beds. There was a fridge, microwave and Keurig machine in room (with a table and chairs to eat). Trader Joe’s, Walgreens, CVS all with in walking distance. Great neighborhood, safe and everything was walkable- most Lyft rides were $10-12 from this location to other tourist spots.
A surprisingly excellent hotel.
It’s centrally located.
It’s a traditional hotel with daily room cleaning, great staff, and a fantastic overall experience.
Best hotel stay I’ve had in the last decade.
Everything was great especially the staff. They were all so kind and helpful. If I find myself in DC again I will definitely be staying here another time.
