A half a block from U Street and a green line metro station -- that was the perfect combo for our needs: good restaurants and easy access to Smithsonian museums. We ate in the neighborhood all three nights (Barcelona, Doi Moi and Eatopia) and happy with all. Self check-in and check-out were easy, too. Each bedroom has a double bed that can sleep two. Two full baths (and a half bath on main floor) also a plus. Kitchen is fully stocked if you want to cook in. We chose to rent a private parking space just around the corner. Very convenient and safe. FYI If you're arriving on a weekday before 5 p.m., it looks like it's pretty easy to get street parking right outside the front door. Rental owner offers that as an option, too. ##### Teri W.
