I cannot say enough about how amazing this rental was. From communication to cleanliness it was perfection! I went with all adults however, as Mom of 2, I noticed a lot of things there that would make it a great location for a family to stay at as well. A perfect home for a family gathering

A Gem in Old Town

We LOVED our stay at The Nostalgic. It's a home full of character and convenience. The walkability to town was a major plus for us. We loved the access to shopping and great restaurants and Ubers were great to downtown DC. The check-in process was easy and the home was comfortable and clean. The collection of albums was a great perk! Great place to stay! I would highly recommend it!

Super property!

Renee is a great property manager and is easy to communicate with. The property itself is superb with many outstanding details- we celebrated Christmas early with my son and his girlfriend from Los Angles and Renee had it all decorated for Christmas. The location could not have been better since we wanted to stay and visit old town Alexandria. Renee gave us recommendations for restaurants that turned out to be superb places! I would highly recommend staying at this property!

Beautiful townhouse! Great location!

Our family of 5 loved our stay at the townhouse! It is spacious, comfortable, clean and well-stocked. Renée was very responsive and provided helpful recommendations. The location is great, in a quiet neighborhood and a pleasant 15 minute walk to Old Town Alexandria's shops and restaurants. About a 15 drive to DCA and about 20 minutes to DC attractions and Georgetown University. We would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing time in this house, 4 kids from 1-13 with us and we had more room than we needed! It is immaculate, clean, and the attention to detail couldn’t be better. It was so clean and organized, but still so warm and inviting. Renee is a wonderful host and couldn’t have been more helpful. She personally took care of an issue we ran into with VRBO when we needed to unexpectedly rearrange the trip. Don’t hesitate to book here!

Exceeded our expectations all around!

Our family was meeting up to explore DC for a week's vacation. We traveled from Hawaii, Europe and Canada and needed a quiet, clean, comfortable and affordable place for our time together. It was all of that and more! Located at the end of a quiet street gave us privacy and security. A nice 10-15 walk from Old Town restaurants, shops and sites. Our host, Renee provided top notch customer service, even lft us a gift certificate to make up for a VRBO booking issue! Responded promptly to questions, gave recommendations that suited our needs - Frankie's, Il Porto and Ada's were great! There is a grocery store, Safeway, minutes away by car. We enjoyed being near DC but not in DC. Arlington National Cemetery, The Lincoln Memorial, Museums National Mall were just a 20+ min or so drive away (depending on traffic). The home is newly renovated a redecorated. Appliances are beautiful. The 3rd floor bathroom has a jacuzzi tub, huge showerhead and a heated-seat bidet toilet!! Compared to the before pictures that we had seen as we made our reservations it was night and day. I felt like I had walked into a home featured in a magazine! The hot tub on the deck out back is definitely worth adding on to your stay. We used it sometimes twice a day! It slept 6 adults comfortably, 7 or 8 if you put 1 adult or 2 kids on the sofa bed. We thought the 4th floor space with the sofa bed, tv, separate AC unit, small bath with shower, laundry and small private deck overlooking the back was a great! Y
