You're just blocks to all the fun of the U-Street corridor, plus you're close to the Convention Center and the National Mall too. Within just two blocks, there are tons of restaurants and entertainment options, and a Whole Foods too. The home has been renovated with fun details and lots of unique features. The Space: You'll love the modern design of the living space and the decor- it's straight out of Dwell magazine! Plus the two-story living room is flooded with light from huge windows. The host is fantastic! The second bedroom has two beds which sealed the deal when we found it online. The other reviews were very accurate - clean, modern, comfortable - with all the amenities you could desire. We did not cook anything other than eggs for breakfast so I can’t speak to the kitchen at any length. The rooftop was really fun for our teens, especially late at night. The neighborhood could be described as “up and coming” or as a colleague described it as “it’s a block by block situation.” We are not light sleepers and hail from a big city. Each night, we fell asleep to the sounds of police sirens. There are homeless sleeping in the shadows of the neighboring stores. To be clear, we had zero negative interactions with anyone.
