Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Leave sheets and beds unmade. Our cleaning crew will strip the beds and attend to the laundry when they get here. Put all used towels in the shower.
Take out the garbage - remember cans/bottles/cardboard in the BLUE can and regular garbage in GREEN can. If a Parking Pass was provided, please return it & put it on the table in the front hallway.
Lock the doors and put the keys back in the Lockbox if I provided one during your stay. If I am at the house, text me when you depart so I can enter afterwards and lock the unit.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Wonderful little lower level apartment situated in a great, convenient location. It made it easy to get around with proximity to the Capital and metro stations. Close to many good restaurants and entertainment within Eastern Market. Host was responsive and had very good, clear communication.

Location location location, fabulous place to stay with walking access to so many historical sites and places (literally around the corner). Comfy place too with great amenities that make you feel at home. Host also gave great tips about the local area and in our case the Jazz scene. This property is a gem. It is closed to everything you want to see in DC. We had three adults in our party, and Christie was able to accommodate an extra twin bed in the laundry area, which worked for us. Very clean and quiet in a great neighborhood

Excellent location, perfect for my family of 4. the kitchen is a bit tight and you have to go through one of the bedrooms to get to the bathroom but those were both more than made up for by the location and convenience. The place had everything we needed.

Perfect DC Getaway Spot! We had a wonderful stay during our trip to Washington, DC. The property was clean, quiet, comfortable, and ideally located for exploring the city. We especially enjoyed visiting Eastern Market and renting bikes to explore the National Mall and all the monuments—it was such a fun and scenic way to take in the sights. This cute little basement area was just what we needed while in DC. We were traveling with two kids, 5 and 7 and they loved the area, and the house too! We loved staying in this property! Our family could not have asked for a better location. We were within walking distance of the Capitol building, Smithsonian museums, and memorials. We were also near a metro stop, so getting around beyond those things was easy, too. The home was comfortable and cozy, and Christie was helpful and kind. We will definitely stay here again in the future!
