Logan Circle is undoubtedly the city\`s best neighborhood for restaurants, bars, shops, and nightlife. The unit is directly off the Circle and is 1 block from the 14th street corridor: Whole Foods, Starbucks, CVS, and multiple bars/restaurants on every block. The city\`s trendiest bars and restaurants have located along 14th Street and the U Street Corridor, and both are within easy walking distance, so it\`s the perfect location for a nice dinner or to enjoy a night on the town. All of these amenities are only a short away, this unit is located on a quiet residential street directly off Logan Circle. Getting Around: Logan Circle is in the middle of all metro lines - access to the Red line, Orange/Blue/Silver, and Yellow/Green lines are located at 3 different stations all located within blocks of this unit, the closest being Shaw-Howard Metro Station. Dupont Circle metro is less then 20 minutes on foot from the home and offers some of the best restaurants and upscale retail locations in the city! Several bus lines have stops located less than 1 block from the unit as well. It was the perfect home in the perfect location! Everything our family of 6 needed was a short walk or easy drive. We walked to breakfast and dinner at Ted’s Bulletin. Found ice cream at Van Leeuwen. But Ted’s had the best desert from the homemade poptarts, carrot cake, Whoopi pie, banana pudding and cheesecake. The host was amazing and quick to respond to my questions. The home is well appointed, and every aspect of it was clean. The observation deck was fantastic overlooking the city. We enjoyed the proximity in the freezing weather to enjoy all that DC had to offer. However, the description refers to this home as a mansion. While it was built with high end, materials has and has great leisure space it’s a bit of a stretch in my opinion to be called a mansion with only three bedrooms and a office, That being said, it should not detract anyone from renting this beautiful home with great access to all that DC has to offer. So tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well stocked with stainless steel cookware and everything you need to cook a meal except the food, and Whole Foods grocery store is just around the corner. We had 8 family members all over 65 of age and everyone was comfortable. It was very quiet but within walking distance to restaurants and night life and Metro.
