It was a relaxing, super clean and comfortable home base with everything we needed to feel at home. Gorgeous kitchen and bathrooms, pretty furnishings, comfortable beds!! cool artwork and well-kept on the outside. Host was friendly, accessible, and helpful. Safe enclosed parking for our car. The location is a little rough around the edges - we saw police a couple times - but also near several excellent restaurants, including one Food & Wine recently put on its Top 20 U.S. restaurants list. Just a couple miles from the U.S. Capitol. Neighbors were friendly - everyone said hello when we saw them outside and being from Boston (where that doesn't necessarily happen) that was noticeable and welcomed. I stayed here with my family and it was a great experience! The house is exactly as advertised. We did not have a car and were able to get to all the museums and monuments via public transportation.
