Perfect get away

Wonderful., welcoming home for a stay in Hermann it has a great patio and large kitchen. A great location, downtown Hermann minutes away. The home is nicely appointed, very clean and comfortable.

The host, Bart, was very easy to contact, and promptly got back to me. The home was very clean, comfortable and relaxing. There is WIFI, a TV with Vizio. If I'm ever in that area again, my husband and I would definitely stay there again. The location is great, it is just a hop, skip and a jump from downtown Herman. However, it is quiet, you do not hear any traffic noise.

Great accommodations

We were in town for a wedding and booked a stay with Bart. It was an unusually cool weekend. We were able to sit outside on the beautiful patio and enjoy the fire pit. The house itself has top notch furniture and appliances. Great place to stay!

Couldn’t have been more pleased with the house! Immaculate, beautiful, spacious. Incredibly comfortable beds and wonderful attention to detail - we even joked that the toilet paper was the nicest in any hotel or rental house. Thank you for a great weekend getaway!

I highly recommend Wine Down Guesthouse! The property is in great proximity to downtown Hermann, has great parking, is beautifully decorated and well maintained. My husband and I spent the weekend with another friend couple; we enjoyed the fire pit one night and stayed in for a movie the next. We didn't use the kitchen as there are so many delicious restaurants in the area, but the beds were comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and security systems in place gave great peace of mind. I saw in previous reviews that past guests wished for throw blankets, and I agree it would have been nice to snuggle with a fleece while on the couch. However the bedrooms have spare blankets that work in a pinch. Overall we loved our stay and will tell our friends where to stay when they go to Hermann!

Trip to Hermann

Very nicely kept; in a quiet neighborhood. Could walk to the post office and almost next door to one of the best vineries in the area. Also one of a few rentals that accommodate guests who are not “couples” (had a difficult time trying to find two separate beds/rooms). So glad “Wine Down” was available.

Best VRBO Stay Ever

This house is beautiful! We were so happy to have such a modern home for our weekend stay. So many properties in Hermann are older, but Wine Down is definitely not that! The home decor is super cute, the towels are fluffy and fresh, the sheets are silky soft and the beds are super comfy. The home was super clean and smelled fresh. The outdoor spaces were perfect. Definitely planning to stay here again!
