From the moment we arrived, it was clear that safety and maintenance were not a priority. Several smoke detectors were covered and inaccessible without a ladder, posing a serious risk to guests. This lack of preparation made the property unfit for a long-term stay, and we ultimately had to leave early for our own safety and peace of mind. Adding to the frustration, the property was in poor condition—broken mirrors, chipped furniture, and a general lack of care. The listing’s description did not match the reality, leaving us feeling misled and extremely dissatisfied. Both the apartment and our interactions with the property manager were excellent. The apartment is in a high-rise in Arlington. The area is very clean and safe. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance, and Virginia Sq Metro stop is 2 blocks away. The apartment was also very clean and everything worked well. It has two large bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The view is to the southeast and while good was not of anything particularly interesting. The Wi-Fi was super fast. Everyone in the building was really friendly. The check in process went very smoothly. The apartment complex has a concierge agent in the lobby who were all very helpful and friendly. The check instructions were very clear. The specific property management is done thru Envitae; their communication was clear and prompt and included both text and email. The only snafu was that the parking pass was not in the apartment when we got there, but they rapidly corrected that with the help of the building’s concierge agent. Parking was an extra fee but was reasonable for the DC area. It’s in the garage below the apartment building. It was initially a little confusing about exactly where we could park and where the entrances to the building were from the garage, but again the concierge agents were really helpful in giving us directions. We would stay in this property again in a heartbeat the next time we go to DC. ##### Tim B.
