Welcome to The Drake! A weekend at the lake should be comfortable and easy. Located on Main Street in downtown Warsaw, you and your guests are within walking distance of shops, restaurants, & Truman Lake, making this historic home the perfect place for your next trip. The Drake offers comfort, convenience, & entertainment for the whole family. We hope that this little yellow house captures your heart like it has ours. What you'll find inside this one-of-a-kind house is a carefully and thoughtfully put together home away from home. As locals to the area and avid lake-goers, we wanted to put our love for Warsaw on display through various furnishings, games, and artwork from local businesses and residents. We keep comfort and convenience in mind so you and yours can focus on making memories here at Truman Lake. Our fully stocked kitchen makes cooking meals at home easier than ever with pots, pans, silverware, dinnerware, utensils, seasonings, cooking oil, and a variety of appliances at your fingertips. If cooking at home is not on your itinerary, you are within walking distance of Warsaw’s downtown area with the best local restaurants. Here at The Drake we have provided an entire set of activities so you don't have to plan your next trip around buying/renting/packing equipment. At no extra cost to you, enjoy the provided disc golf set, set of pickleball paddles and balls, adult and youth fishing poles w/ packed tackle box, 4 adult bikes and 2 scooters, and a stocked picnic basket w/ blanket. Want a break from the sun? Rainy day with nothing to do? You have your choice of fun inside between watching your favorite show on one of our Smart TVs or hanging out in the Game Room where you will find foosball, tabletop arcade games, and wall games like Tic Tac Toe and Connect 4. For a more classic game night, you'll want to check out the variety of board and card games! If console gaming is your jam, turn on the XBOX for single or multiplayer play. Don't forget to pair your day inside with a snack, microwave popcorn, or cup of coffee (or all of the above!) The private, fenced backyard is your new personal oasis. Relax in one of the two hammocks or have family dinner al fresco. Take a second to admire the mural of Drake Harbor done by a local artist! You can cook up something delicious inside or move things to our outdoor grill stand where you can find the tabletop blackstone. We have shared endless memories in this small town of Warsaw and hope that The Drake will be a part of the making of yours! Driveway and street parking is available for two vehicles or a vehicle with a boat.
