The convenient ski locker is at the building entrance. Within mere steps are restaurants (Mutha Stuffers, Chez Henri French restaurant, A La Carte, and The Reks bar), Mountainside Ski Shop, day care/school, and heated summer pool (as seen from balcony). The main level has a relaxing balcony with spectacular views spanning the mountain and the Mad River Valley. See the Valley House Quad, Super Bravo, Heaven’s Gate, and Village Quad lifts spinning and watch skiers on Stein's Run, Murphy's Glades, Spring Fling, and Lower Snowball. Vaulted living room has gas fireplace, comfy furnishings, updated decor which is changed to reflect season and is perfect for viewing the torchlight parade and fireworks during holiday weeks. Dining area has a custom-crafted banquette, the bathrooms are renovated and plush spa towels are provided. Bedrooms boast luxurious king mattresses (read the reviews about these!), luxurious winter bedding which is changed to crisp non-ski-season bedding. Kitchen is original but updated and more fully equipped than most, with newer appliances, including 5-burner range, microwave, quiet dishwasher, toaster oven, toaster, blender, crock-pot, cookware & bakeware. First level has a full bath with shower/tub combo and a king bedroom. 2nd floor has another king bedroom with vaulted ceilings, en suite full bath with shower/tub combo, 3 large upper clerestory windows for sleeping under the moonlight, and a reading nook. Ski to the Village Quad lift via the "Out Road" trail or get to the base lodge via a 5 minute walk over the covered bridge or take the shuttle. Ski back on the "Out-to-Lunch" or "Easy Rider" and "In Road" trails that lead skiers to just below this unit's balcony. If you're looking for more activities, it's a 5 minute walk to the Sugarbush Health & Rec Center, or peruse antique & local artisan shops, then sample the cuisine at the many restaurants in Warren and Waitsfield. Tour a brewery, distillery, glass gallery, Museum of Industrial Design, or Ben & Jerry's. From the sweet decorations, to watching Alabama move on to the Championship (Roll TIde), to the fireworks and festivities on New Years Eve. We had a wonderful time! WOuld definitely come again! We stayed over MLK weekend and had a wonderful wknd. The condo is very clean, very comfortable, and a perfect location. The view of the torchlight parade and fireworks was perfect. The lack of snow meant the ski off/on trail was closed, but it's an easy walk to the base lodge and main lifts. We will be coming back next year! ##### Renee R. Everything exactly as described. Be sure to buy you lift tickets at the start of the season - same day rates are very expensive! If you want to use the outdoor ski locker be sure to bring a padlock. This condo is exactly what you are looking for! ##### Robert L. The location is great. The ski-in/ski-out trail was closed when we were there, but the walk to the lift is easy. It’s also great to have a few restaurants just steps away. WiFi worked fine. And the owner was helpful. It’s also great to be able to bring your dog, and for that reason we had managed expectations about the condo. However, cleanliness was an issue during our stay. The bed sheets had hair on them (owner quickly remedied this, though), there were dust bunnies in the corners, dishes in the cabinets had to be rewashed before we used them, and the walls were a little dirty. Also, one shower was basically unusable because it just made a light mist, but the other worked fine. Both the condo and the building itself are due for a refresh - I.e, carpets, paint, etc.. But I think this is reflected in the price and in the fact that it is dog friendly. I’d liken this condo to a decent-quality roadside motel (e.g., functional furnishings, outdated, not gross but perhaps some cleanliness issues), except you get two bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen, and of course a ski trail right outside your door. In other words, it’s totally fine depending on your priorities. If you’re not too fancy, and you want ski-in/ski-out and to bring your dog, this is a perfectly fine option. ##### Tim & Cathy M.
