"Huge thank you; the staff was so helpful with information and guidance on where to eat and how to navigate the town. Just a few items worth mentioning: it's a basic room, no fancy fixtures. The lamp between the two queen-size beds didn't work, which wasn't a problem because of the overhead light. Some items need updating. But overall, our goal was just a place to sleep, and it was comfortable; the sheets were soft, and we had a good night's sleep- nice and quiet! Would recommend and would definitely stay there again."

"The fact that 1 dog was welcome is the primary reason I chose this location. Another reason was the proximity to an event I was attending.The location is in a very undeveloped area, but the camp is fairly close to a road as the bird flies, high above and visually removed from it. Noise from the road was not any problem, and good roads nearby was a plus.The owner has a house on the road into the camp, well separated from camp. I liked this, they didn't bother me, and nice to have help nearby.The road in is was a well maintained gravel up and down winding way around rocky terrain. The owner had a large pile of road material and a front loader on site to keep it in good shape. However- if you don't know how to drive when you have to take ground clearance seriously, and have a very low undercarriage, maybe not for you.Another thing I liked is the wifi internet connection. Cell phone coverage was weak in some places around there, I wanted to be sure I could communicate with the event I was attending. VERY convenient to Fort Ticonderoga, which I visited, and highly recommend. There are other sites to visit nearby as well. I crossed on the Ticonderoga Ferry, the oldest continuous Vermont business, which is also nearby. Talk to the owner who runs the ferry if you go. Learning the details of operating the ferry while talking with him, his love for history and the legacy he contues is obvious.In conclusion- I had a very good experience, and recommend this location."

"We had a great stay at Tom and Jenn’s. The house was very homey and well stocked with anything we could have needed. It is in a quiet neighborhood/part of the lake so great for a relaxing and being close to the water!"

"Overall, we had a great stay. The house was very nice, well-maintained, and beautifully updated throughout. The view was fantastic and made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, this is definitely the place for you. The train for us, wasn’t an issue at all. You can barely hear it inside the house."
