We travel a lot but we have never seen such a nice staff anywhere. Shayan is a sweetheart and extremely nice and helpful. My son was sick and one of staff went out of her way to make kitchen make a soup for him. You don’t see these kind of stuff often. Thank you to all the staff.!

The location was great right in front of the park where the paragliders land and with a view of the snow capped mountains. Fifteen minutes walk from both interlaken east and west stations. Halal food places nearby.
Inside the hotel looked nice and clean though the rooms were very basic. The front of the building however looked awful...really run down and I was shocked when I saw it. The photos on the listing only show the building at night in the dark with lights on so you can't really tell. It's a shame because it really lets the hotel down.
Also the breakfast buffet had very limited options considering it wasn't a cheap hotel. I was quite disappointed because I had expected more.

Location was perfect - close to shops and grocery stores (to help cut the cost of very expensive dining out in Switzerland). Short walk to Interlaken West train station. Easy bus access. Breakfast was included and was VERY good - lots of variety and delicious! Beds/pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is older, and room was pretty basic - no bedside lamps (NOT a game changer), and no A/C, which we discovered is common in Switzerland. Temperatures were warm (high twenty's) during our stay, but we were given 2 floor fans which really helped to keep things comfortable. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

Loved the staff. They were very friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They always called us by name when we went through the lobby or ran into us somewhere in the hotel.
We stayed in the William Tell suite in the older historic section of the hotel while our traveling companions chose the newer, modern side of the hotel. Our suite suited us with it's Old World charm.
The hotel's location is great for either enjoying the sights/activities of the town/lake nearby or for day tripping to sites around Switzerland.

"All good and nice but..... I think this must be the only hotel I ever visited which did not have tea/coffee making facilities in the room (kettle, a few teas and coffees). I find that to be essential if you want to have a cup of tea in the evening or a coffee in the morning if checking out really ..."

"We came to the hotel because it had a/c but it wasn’t working well so it was only tepid. I was told the restaurant was open until 9 only to find out only ice cream is available after 8:00 pm. The staff did try to help and the breakfast was great!"
