"Needs a good cleaning. Everything was filthy. The windows, the floors, counter tops, fridge, there is only one old frying pan and a small egg pan. The oven- needs to be cleaned! The floor mats, and the hot tub is nasty, it needs water, chlorine , had a ton of moths and flys floating along with debris. For the amount of money, this shouldn't be a request but mandatory."

"Eagle Point Lakeview was the perfect large family getaway! From the moment we walked in, one could feel the family love and intention that went into anticipating a guest’s needs. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable, and there were even blackout shades for those wanting to sleep in. The dock and paddle boards kept the younger generation occupied, while the plethora of woodland birds, occasional squirrels visiting us on the deck, and even a local family of bald eagles giving us a fishing demonstrate was a treat to see! The large deck seating area with gas fireplace and grill was an added treat. While visibility from statewide fires hampered the pristine Mountain views, the owner provided a new air purifier, which was greatly appreciated. We would 100% recommend this gem to anyone wanting a lakeside escape in pristine nature."

"Property was clean and well maintained. Kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea, and other beverages. Location is fantastic with dock and wonderful views of the lake. My only concern was the additional fees added to the VRBO total amount stated on the VRBO website."

"The location and view are unmatched! The house was super clean and the dock was perfect- big and accessible. Also appreciated the parking for 3 vehicles plus a boat trailer. We went during Chief Joseph Days so paid a premium for that. For that reason I rated the value lower, I would have expected sharp knives and updated appliances at the minimum for what we paid."

"Stunning view of the lake! Spacious house offered plenty of room for our family of 4. Not sure I’ve ever stayed anywhere with so much closet space — and hangers! The large laundry room was wonderful after arriving from several days of backpacking. The suite of toiletries provided was very helpful and the treats (pancake mix, popcorn, prosecco) much appreciated and enjoyed. One of the things we liked best was all the tables. There was a table for games, a table for a puzzle, a table to eat! During our stay, there weren’t any folding chairs to take down to the dock, so bring along a couple if you’d like to sit by the water or sunbathe. This home is a great jumping off point (or ultimate destination) for a beautiful Wallowa vacation. Would definitely come again."
