"Nice property, beautiful home. However, it needs a better housekeeping protocal, dirty dishes and utensils in cupboards and drawers, carpets were filthy, floors and patio hadn't been swept properly and previous dog hair on bedding and front of couch. I love my dogs but really? Clean up for the next guest if you're "pet friendly", we certainly pay fees for that! There is also a mice problem, D-Con was left out so not ideal for pets. The location is pretty, but definitely not private, houses...

"This was the perfect place for myself and 3 friends to stay for the night after a day at Hiawatha trail! The hot tub was so clean and felt so nice after a long ride! The older house was clean and perfectly setup with modern appliances and updates. Directions and helpful tips all throughout the home made everything so easily accessible. The road to the home was a bit of a shock, since it was very steep! But that’s to be expected in the mountains! We loved it here and it slept us 4 ladies just...

"Beautiful tree scape. Kind of a treehouse experience with the spiral staircase. It is tricky loading to kitchen and living area. You have to be semi fit to navigate loading-unloading. There are several stairs to enter home. The fire pit was lovely. The game room was a plus! Our dog loved it! We recommend this house for sure. Most likely will stay again."

"The house had everything you could want for a nice, quiet stay in the mountains. The owners were very responsive to any request (which was only for butter to cook eggs!), and even provided us with snacks and wine for our first day! It was a big house with lots of room. Although close to owner's house, felt very private. Enjoyed seeing the sheep and Max every day. We would highly recommend staying with Mark and Victoria."

"When we arrived we were stunned by the panoramic view of the lake and the vastness of the patio and decks. I was thrilled by the fully equipped kitchen and the plentiful bathrooms and towels and pillows. Between the decks and hot tub we spent much of our time outside. "It was fantastic, quiet and private. Unfortunately we didn't spend lot of time at the house due to soccer but it had everything we needed. As a dad, I cherished the opportunity to drink coffee on the deck each morning and watch the sunrise over Hayden lake. It is an opportunity rarely given and I wish for more of it. I would definitely stay again."

"This vacation home is so amazing. It is rustic, yet modern and luxurious and completely comfortable, cozy, enchanting and charming, as well as super spacious. It is only 15 minutes from Sandpoint, but much better than actually staying in Sandpoint, because it is in the forested hills by Cocolalla Lake, close to Round Lake State Park and Sandpoint, as well as a short drive to Schweitzer Mountain ski resort. The home is beautifully decorated, with all the modern conveniences and spectacular views...

"The home was very spacious and relaxing, could use an instruction manual for the home and it's amenities like most vrbo's have, could not get the fireplace to work and didn't know if it was an option. going into winter, extra blankets for the bedrooms would be nice. also had to call for assistance 2 times to get the door lock to work. Also, spoiled by past vrbo's stays in Idaho and Colorado, first mornings coffee or hot chocolate would be nice, there were no condiments at all."
