Main Floor Elegant Suite

  • Reserve the main floor of the historic Bauknight House. This reservation includes the romantic main floor suite and private use of main floor living spaces. You will have the home to yourself, but the second floor is off-limits. Events and gatherings cannot be added to this booking. Please check out our other listing to reserve the whole house with five bedrooms.
    If you want to enjoy the charm and elegance of this historic gem with your significant other, this is the option for you. Available for last minute bookings, you can enjoy the Main Street location and easy access to all activities the area has to offer. Walk to Mountain Mocha for a treat or enjoy shopping and dining just a short walk away. From morning coffee in the sunroom to a romantic dinner for two in the dining room, this unique experience will make for a getaway to remember. Above and beyond for my sister and brother-in-law.

We rented this room for my brother and sister who just got married. Kimberly went above and beyond and even made my special requests come true. Kimberly and her team went the extra mile and put out strawberries and brownies and wine and set up the most beautiful candles and rose petals for the room. The bride and groom said it was the most beautiful room they’ve ever seen. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

Spacious and comfortable

We stayed here while visiting our older daughter at Clemson and attending a football game. It’s an older historic home but the bathrooms are nicely renovated and it’s a super spacious and comfortable place to stay. Left us extra pillows for our 9 year old. No problem getting in or out and very clean.
