8/10 Very good! (1 review)
We had a family group consisting of 2 couples and 3 nephews, and this was a great place for the group. There is room to gather and talk, relax, eat. The kitchen was very functional. There is no WiFi. The hostess is very kind and helpful. However, we had no idea there are so many stairs leading to the place. There are 104 stairs, plus more steps at an incline, leading to the front door. Then the flat is on two levels. We had an extremely difficult time due to the stairs. If you have no mobility issues this is a great place and we recommend it. But if you are handicapped at all we do not.

If I'm not able to travel, can I cancel my Wald travel package?
You can. We realise even the best-laid plans can fail, so we're happy to help if you have to make changes to your Wald travel package. You may be able to amend or cancel your itinerary at no cost if you've booked within 24 hours. Your hotel, airline or car rental company may impose a fee if you booked more than 24 hours ago. Good news! We do. Expedia has partnered with online lender Klarna to help you conveniently pay for your trip in manageable instalments. Simply click on the payment plan that suits you best during checkout and take away the stress of budgeting for your next trip. Don't forget to bundle your flights, accommodation and activities with Expedia to get the biggest bang for your travel buck. Take a look at our flexible payment options below:

  • Pay monthly holidays: If paying small amounts each month is what works best for you, Klarna offers just that! Paying in convenient monthly instalments will make your holiday dreams come true.
  • Pay in instalments holidays: Like the idea of paying down your holiday in multiple transactions? Then select this Book Now, Pay Later option from Klarna.
  • Low deposit holidays: If paying a small percentage of your trip (rather than all of it upfront) makes it easier to hit that "book now" button, choose a low deposit holiday payment plan with Klarna.

Where should I stay in Wald?
With lots to explore in Wald, we suggest you lock in a hotel near its attractions. Evangelische Kirche Heiden, Alpine Panorama Path and Grub Suspension Bridge are some interesting ones to put on your to-do list.
What are the top hotels in Wald?
Make a reservation at Hotel und Spezialitätenrestaurant zur Linde. It's one of the area's most in-demand properties. Another highly rated option in Wald is Säntis - Das Hotel.
How far in advance should I book my Wald holiday?
While prices change from time to time, we generally advise booking your flight as early as possible. Many international fares can be found on Expedia up to 12 months in advance. If circumstances have left you booking late, you might still be in luck. Cheaper tickets to Wald sometimes appear in the weeks prior to departure.
What does an Expedia Wald travel package include?
Packages include hotels, rental cars and flights, but you can mix and match them to create your dream Wald escape. You can also add on activities and experiences once you've made your booking. You're in control! When you combine your bookings with Expedia, you'll score discounts you won't find anywhere else.
What should I know before booking a Wald travel package?
Booking all the parts of your holiday together is an excellent way to save. Bundle car rentals, airfares and hotels into one package. But it's not just hotels. Expedia offers all types of properties, including holiday rentals such as mountain cabins and city apartments. The list goes on!
Can I choose my airline with a Wald Expedia travel package?
