The Vista Waikoloa is a gated condominium community in the Waikoloa Beach Resort on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. Located in the heart of the Waikoloa Beach Resort. The Waikoloa Queens Marketplace Shops, Island Gourmet Market and Kings Shops are a half mile away and are great for shopping and excellent dining. Anaehoomalu Bay Beach is a few minutes’ drive from the Vista Waikoloa. All of our vacation rentals include a basic “start-up supply” of: laundry detergent, garbage bags, kitchen sponge, liquid soap, dishwasher liquid, paper towels, toilet paper, conditioning shampoo, small bar soap, all-purpose cleaner, plastic wrap and aluminum foil and salt/pepper. The living room decor was very relaxing and the lanai was perfect for napping. We enjoyed the pool and use of the gas grills on the property. The condo is roomy, the kitchen and master bathrooms are really nice and it was great to have double beds in the second bedroom. It's also really close to the pool. Check in was also really easy. D101 was a wonderful home-base for our family trip. Furnishings were clean and comfortable and made us feel at home. The pool is possibly the family favorite for any place we have stayed. We love the location for moving up and down the Kona side of the island, but it worked well for our trip to Hilo too. Vista Waikoloa is close to multiple beaches, shops, a gas station, and vacation activities. Our only disappointment on the trip was the lack of great food in the area. This was solved with a trip to Costco for food supplies...our favorite meals were cooked at the condo or on the community grills (very nice) at the complex. We love being out in Waikoloa, it’s quieter and yet has great shops, restaurants and lots of nice beaches within an easy drive. We had a wonderful stay here. The condo was well-equipped and comfortable with tons of storage. The kitchen was great for cooking for the family. The lanai was beautiful and comfortable and my kids enjoyed watching all the turkeys wander through the grounds. We loved being close to the two shopping centers. We visited the Big Island over the holidays and ended our 10 day trip at this welcoming condo. It was so nice to have access to beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. Easy to walk to many shops. The property was spacious, beds were comfortable and in a convenient ground floor unit with nice lanai and lovely outdoor furniture. Was central to walking to many shops. Great proximity to the Hilton and the pool pass a bonus. Also enjoyed the use of the boogie boards and sand chairs for the beach. Would definitely stay here again.
