We have stayed before at Kolea. It’s the perfect place for families and relaxing. Walking distance to food and market, yoga, farmers market, etc. The pool is not too deep and very relaxing. Hot tub is lovely. The beach is just beyond the pool and is in a bay, so it’s very nice for kiddos. We crashed the Luau at Marriott next door, the kids were mesmerized by the fire dancer and Hula people. This unit is slightly farther away from the pool than other units, but closer to the shopping area. And very quiet and peaceful. The condo does have a lot of tchotchkes and random art, breakables just fyi. We will be back ##### Laina R. Ask Daisy from the property mgt company or Conrad from CJR Appliance for photos of the BBQ and dishwasher. Ask Conrad how unsafe the condition of the BBQ was. The kitchen was very well appointed, although the coffee grinder (a plus!) needs to be replaced. Everything was very clean, but it does need some minor maintenance: a number of light bulbs were burned out, and the master bathroom toilet sometimes runs (jiggle the handle to stop). The staff was FANTASTIC and very responsive (thank you Daisy!!). The three biggest issues were (1) there could be better instructions for the living room TV (we couldn't get it to change channels or access any streaming services), (2) the gas grill igniter and hood didn't work, and (3) the grill sink has a very slow drain.
