"Liked location and uniqueness of bar area"

"A very large hotel, just off Russell Square and only a few minutes walk from Russell Square tube station. The hotel was busy and seemed popular with international visitors. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities you need. The washbasin in the bathroom was a bit small and the tap quite high (good for filling water bottles), but if you're not careful you will splash water everywhere. Staff didn't mention breakfast at check-in. I don't think I booked it, but a reminder about breakfast could have been useful, although there are plenty of shops nearby. Some of the decor in communal areas and corridors is quite dated, but rooms themselves are in better condition."

"Breakfast buffet was great, room was a bit small but perfect for solo traveler. Location was perfect ! Nightlife is literally walkable ! Theatres are walkable! Restaurants are walkable! Hotel is super clean , nice cute gym! Would definitely recommend! "

"Upon arrival we found out that the restaurant was closed and that we would have to request a refund after our stay. First day everything worked in the room but the second day the AC stopped working and the room got swelteringly hot, windows did not open so we tried to get the AC working, staff came to check on it and said “we reset it, it will be working again in 15-20 minutes”. SURPRISE!!! It didn’t, third day same process nothing worked. On the fourth day a young employee from the front desk came up and in 5 minutes he had the AC working. More importantly, he stayed there to confirm it was actually cooling before leaving."

"Great stay at the hotel. The room is large, spacious and clean, large, thick and luxurious towels, free bottles of water that were replaced daily. The staff at the reception are cordial and full of goodwill. The gym and pool are a perfect treat at the end of each day. The breakfast is varied and delicious. The location is excellent and public transportation to all attractions is a short walk away. There is no doubt that the experience was wonderful and we would be happy to stay here on our next visit."
