"Overall, the hotel, staff, and location were excellent. The hot tub didn't work our first night, and the pool was exceptionally cold. My grandchildren were a little disappointed. The hot tub was fixed for a second night's stay. The pool was still extremely cold. Also, we had some trouble with our keycards. Would I stay there again? Absolutely, as I know these things can be fixed."

"Overall, our stay was nice for our “mini-moon” after our wedding. We love the Cantilever bourbon so it was nice to have a few drinks and then walk safely back to our room. We were a little sad that there was no hot tub. We were glad to at least be able to use the sauna."

"This Hotel is an older property but well maintained, clean and staff was great. Breakfast options were basic but good for the money it cost to stay there. Even though there was no hot tub option the Sauna was great to use after a cold windy day on the lake. I would Stay here again when in the area."

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay up in Rainy lake. The cabin was beautiful and fit everyone well, and we had 5 teenagers and a dog! The connected bathrooms on 3 of the 4 bedrooms were a hit, as were the reclining sofa and loveseat. We also enjoyed the sunroom with the fireplace (good kid hangout space) The location is great. Even at this time of year, there are multiple lodges/restaurants to enjoy. The Thunderbird Lodge is a quick boat ride across the bay, or less than 10 minutes by car. The Cantilever in Rainier is a favorite. The Tilson Bay Bog Walk is a must. We will definitely be back!"
