The area is dark and nothing around. Very secluded and a little eery when staying alone but it is very close to the volcano which is why I came! Beautiful location. Clean. Easy check-in and out. Only downside was the 15 point turn to get my truck into the parking lot since I was last in. The view of the ferns and the Flamingo Lily's were amazing. The unit was clean and had all that we needed for one night stay (wish it would have been two). The bed was extremely comfortable, and the nature sounds at night lulled me to sleep. This is a perfect place to stay for a visit to VNP. We didn't receive the check in instructions until after 4PM and this was a bit stressful, but there was someone on site who helped us. If we ever make it back to the area, I would stay here or another one of the units again. :) ##### sara m. The other guests in adjacent cabinswere very charming.
