"Communication with the house keeper was excellent, very helpful and friendly person. He tried everything to help us and feel us comfortable. The advertisement here on expedia didn’t mention the seperated bathroom which was actually in the hallway, not inside our apartment. The bathroom for 5 people was tiny, but ok. "Vasja is a fabulous host, who greets visitors with a welcome drink & plenty of regional insight. The apartments are designed for big groups with multiple beds in multiple rooms. While we only stayed for 2 nights, things are set up nicely for week-long stays. Breakfasts are delicious and locally sourced. Bovec is reasonably convenient (35-40 min) to ski slopes in Italy. It’s also in the heart of beautiful natural wonders. Driving the mountain roads nearby is exhilarating."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was spacious and comfortable, the courtyard was lovely with stunning views, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. "What a beautiful and historic hotel in the center of Gorizia! The folks at the hotel are all very friendly and helpful. The wine bar is wonderful, the breakfast was lovely. It’s centrally located easy walking distance from public transit, sights, restaurant and bars. The room was odd (the building is very old!) but perfectly comfy! Highly recommend this hotel."

The bathroom had some awkward elements - the door was a swing door, but had no handle so you could only push it regardless of what side of the door you were on. "We had chosen to stay in this hotel for the proximity of the Bohinj and Bled lakes. It was perfect for us, we did a lot of hiking. You can easily start a trip directly from the hotel. We liked the breakfast and the dinner in the hotel. Dinner is in buffet, not an abundance of choice, but everything was tasty, and the staff made sure everything was constantly refilled. The people at the reception have been very helpful and friendly. We also liked the pool in the adjacent aquapark. Perfect to relax after a long hike. For our next trip to Slovenia we might stay here again."

"Absolutely amazing stay during our bikepacking trip through Italy and Slovenia. We arrived at the hotel way before the check-in started, but the staff members were super helpful and allowed us to leave our bicycles in a safe area while waiting for the room to be ready for us. This has allowed us to start exploring the town, before returning to the hotel. The room was spacious, freshly renovated, beautifully furnished and with fantastic tea/coffee facilities. We loved the huge, comfortable bed, the air conditioning was also a blessing on this hot day & night. We were apprehensive about the virtual reception, online check-in, but in the end all went well, and the receptionist with whom I spoke on the phone was super helpful and friendly. Overall, we had a terrific one night stay at this boutique hotel and will for sure be returning back in the future 😊 thank you!"
