Wonderful place! Great location in an extremely quaint village surrounding an 800-year-old castle. Close to everything if you have a car. Perfect place, but it could use more comfortable furniture in the living room. But I'd stay there again in a minute!

Beautifully renovated in a lovely area
This is a lovely quiet property in a pretty village with bar/restaurant a very short stroll. It is well equipped, the beds are comfortable and lots of outside space to sit and relax. The bathrooms are lovely with big showers. Small uncomfortable sofa inside. There is no air con and the two fans were incredibly noisy so unusable at night. Take lots of insect repellent as we were bitten mornings, daytime, evening and night on any tiny areas not sprayed. Beaches a drive away, loads of places to visit, we had a lovely week in the property, thank you!

A wonderful week in a beautiful area
Every aspect of our booking was excellent. Communication with Michel was speedy and efficient. The house was beautifully clean and had everything we could need. The covered pergola was a blessing as was all the outside furniture. The weather was lovely so the coolness of the house was very welcome. We would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.

Stay in Montfort
The location was perfect and the property clean and modern. The showers were really nice and the kitchen very well equipped. It was a little odd not to have a sink in with the water closets but this was minor. It was wonderful to have a patisserie within walking distance as well as a restaurant. We would stay here again.

Beautiful house in a charming village
We loved our time here! The house was the perfect base for exploring the region, and our four-year-old loved playing in the orchard. It was still the off-season during our stay from late March to the beginning of April, so the restaurant in Montfort was closed, as were many others in neighboring towns and villages that serve tourists. We did find plenty of options in Sarlat, just a short drive away. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Beautiful House
This is a beautiful House in a great location just a short walk from the river, patisserie and a lovely bar/restaurant. The accommodation is beautifully decorated throughout and well equipped. The driveway down to the property is a little steep which could be difficult for a low car, like mine but overall it didn't cause too much of an issue. The owners are great, being local and easy to get hold of if needs be. The only comment I'd make is that due to the excessively hot temperature some of the rooms would benefit from aircon or at least a fan in each bedroom to make the nights more bearable. Overall a lovely place in a wonderful location.

Great house, with all conceivable kitchen appliances, conveniently located near major Perigord sites. The only problem in our stay was the long heat wave which made the four beds on the top floor basically inhabitable. Screens throughout the house would have helped. We bought two large fans that remain there.

Wonderful week with family of 5 women.
The house & the location were ideal. It was spotlessly clean and new. The kitchen was better equipped than my own. The host gave us valuable information about restaurants & places to visit. Everything was wonderful.

Beautiful house in a stunning setting, great walks and views, highly recommended!
This stunning house is situated in a truly friendly and very beautiful little village with 3 restaurants and a bakery. Our kids loved the huge garden and we enjoyed river walks from the house. There was plenty to do nearby - Sarlat market, troglodyte dwellings, canoeing and more pretty villages. We had a fabulous time!

A beautiful property in a wonderful location
This is a spacious property beautifully decorated, perfectly clean and contains everything you could possibly need. It is located in a small and lovely commune that has a boulangerie and a number of restaurants within easy walking distance. From the house there are views of a privately owned, impressive chateau which acts as a good landmark when out and about. The pictures of the lounge area are not up to date. There is comfortable seating with a television (no English language channels). The woodburner is not in the lounge area as such, but I'm sure would warm the whole property during the winter. The house has extensive grounds as well as an elevated terrace containing a table and chairs to eat Al Fresco. You car can be parked under cover in case of wet or hot weather. The only slight downside is the narrow entrance to the steep drive. If you have a wide car it maybe best to have someone guide you down!! Very highly recommended!!!! We would love to spend another holiday there. Fantastic!!!

La maison est très bien située. Elle est très agréable, fonctionnelle et propre. Le jardin est super, grand et sécurisé. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour avec nos enfants. Il y a des balades à faire tout près et plein de choses à visiter.

Wundervolle Ferien im Perigord
Wir hatte 14 Tage pure Erholung. Ein wirrlich tolles Haus mit Garten, so wie es inseriert wurde. Die Bilder vom Haus hätten von uns stammen können. Wir hatten einen sehr netten und herzlichen Empfang. Unsere Zeit vor Ort hat nicht ausgereicht, um alle Sehenswürdigkeiten aufnehmen zu können. Tolle Burgen, Festungen und vor allem der Markt in Sarlat ist mindstens ein Besuch wert. Eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft und ein tolles Team, dass sich um die Angelegenheiten vor Ort kümmert. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Joli et confortable, à deux pas de Sarlat.
Venus de Normandie pour un séjour en famille à 8 personnes, nous avons passé la semaine idéale ! Le gîte est remarquablement situé et très agréable, à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Seul bémol, les moustiques !

Clean, comfortable, spacious house. Well equipped kitchen, nice large garden. Wifi was sufficient (speed varies between 3 and 60 Mbps) even outside on the terrace. Very quiet, we even saw a deer in the garden our first night. Close to the river Dordogne even-though access is limited near the house but a few kilometer away sufficient beaches. Nice scenery for walks, one starts right behind the garden (8 km).

Family Holiday in the Perigord Noir
The house is close to Montfort Castle, in a beautiful and quiet location with a huge garden. It is very well equipped, newly renovated and there are even toys for small children. Many sights and the most beautiful villages of the Perigord Noir are not far away. The ramp down to the house seems a bit narrow at first sight, but even with our big station wagon it was no problem to drive down there. We can recommend the house without any reservations.

Tolle Unterkunft
Super Lage: jede Menge Kulturstätten im Umkreis von 30 km. Nur 8 km entfernt von Sarlat. Sehr gute Ausstattung. Riesiger Garten mit Obst- und Walnussbäumen. Sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter Empfang. Alles in allem: Sehr empfehlenswert.

Toller Urlaub an der Dordogne
Wir durften einen unvergesslichen Urlaub in einer wundervollen Landschaft genießen. Das Ferienhaus lag sehr zentral für alle Unternehmungen zu Sehenswürdigkeiten, Einkauf oder auch sportl. Aktivitäten, wie Kanufahren oder wandern. Restaurants befinden sich in der näheren Umgebung. Trotzdem ist die liebevoll eingerichtete Unterkunft abseits genug, um auch im Garten Ruhe zu finden oder zu entspannen. Für uns ein supertoller Urlaub!

Wunderschönes Haus mit großem Garten in der Dordogne
Die Begrüßung war wunderbar und wir konnten uns sehr gut auf Englisch verständigen. Das Haus ist offenbar frisch saniert und modern eingerichtet. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man brauchte. So macht Kochen (und Essen) Spaß. Im Haus blib es auch bei 30 Grad im Haus angenehm kühl. In der Remise ist eine Grillstelle, so dass man auch bei Regen in der Remise hätte grillen können. Der Garten ist riesig mit vielen schattenspendenden Bäumen. Was man auf den Fotos sieht, das bekommt man auch.

Sehr erholsamer Urlaub mit Wiedehopf, Rotkehlchen und Apfelbäumen
Wir (5 Erwachsene) haben in dem schönen und gut eingerichteten Haus und dem herrlichen Obstbaum-Garten eine wunderbar ruhige, sehr erholsame Woche erlebt. Das Ferienhaus ist ideal gelegen, die „Garage“ bietet perfekten Unterstand für unsere Boote und Räder. Anfang Juni waren wenig Touristen, aber viele Tiere zu beobachten. Wir empfehlen das Domzil auf alle Fälle weiter. A la prochaine!

Un séjour bien apprécié
La maison idéale pour un séjour réussi. Très bien équipée pour accueillir un petit groupe (nous étions 5 adultes), des espaces intérieurs suffisants, un vaste jardin, de la place pour abriter les voitures et pas de voisinage dérangeant. De plus son emplacement dans ce petit village très tranquille facilite les visites touristiques qui sont nombreuses dans un périmètre restreint et même élargi. Cette semaine passée à Montfort nous a enchantés.

Super location à Montfort
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la location. L'emplacement est idéal, situé dans un village plein de charme. La maison en elle-même est super, très bien rénovée fonctionnelle avec tout l'équipement nécessaire. Le grand jardin est super pour les enfants. Je recommande chaudement.

La propriété est très bien située, dans le cadre magnifique du château de Monfort, et à quelques kilomètres de nombreux lieux à découvrir. La maison est parfaitement équipée. Tout est fait pour faciliter le séjour des vacanciers. Le monsieur qui nous a accueillis est charmant également.

Globalement la maison est agréable. Il est dommage que l'annonce ne précise pas clairement qu'il n'y a que deux vraies chambres, les autres couchages étant sous les toits dans un même espace ouvert séparé par la cage d'escalier. La literie sous les combles est peu confortable. La piscine du voisin est juste sous les fenêtres de la maison ce qui génère des nuisances sonores. Heureusement qu'il n'a pas fait très beau cette semaine là évitant le bruit de la piscine tous les jours et la chaleur des combles. Le propriétaire est très réactif et a tout fait pour faciliter le séjour avec son guide rédigé sur la région.

Maison très confortable . Magnifique jardin avec vue sur le château . Nous avons passé 2 semaines sympathiques orientées " jeunes enfants " :baignades dans les lacs et la Dordogne, Quercyland , le village 1900 du Bournat , préhisto-parcs , bonnes glaces ici et là ...Et le soleil en prime !!
