Great Stay!
We had a great one week stay. Lovely place with all you need. Very comfortable bed, which is our number one requirement when we travel! Very attentive host, making sure all was going well. Highly recommend!

Just Right
The guest house was just right for us. We cooked every meal there with no issues. It is located just minutes from the Dr's office we were going to. House is very clean and spacious enough for 3 people to move around. The kitchen had everything we needed for making all our meals. This was our second time staying at this house and will probably stay again. The host was very responsive to our inquires and needs. Would recommend.

Cleanliness is key and this place was perfect. Many options to eat within a short drive to downtown. We loved that we could drive anywhere we needed to get within reason but have a comfortable place to relax and sleep. Check-in was super easy as great detailed instructions were given.

Perfect for our getaway!
My husband and I stayed here when we were in town for a wedding. It was perfect! So nicely decorated, had everything we needed for our stay, the host has thought of every detail to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again in the future if we are in town again!

Superb house, neighborhood, and experience
The space was beautiful. Great decor and homey feeling. Super clean. Very easy to navigate, the host had everything labeled. The access to WiFi and streaming content was great. Lots of little touches to make the stay better. Easy to find in the hills of Vista. The host was easy to communicate with and you can tell she deserves her super host status. We will be booking here again as it was such a great experience and so close to our family.

We enjoyed our time with family for Thanksgiving and this VRBO gave us some quiet time in an otherwise hectic holiday season. Home Away From Home
This was the perfect place for me to rent. The guest house was warm and cozy. The decor is lovely and makes you feel right at home. Most of what I needed while I was there was readily available. This was a very comfortable place to stay and I felt safe and provided for. I feel like Debra went out of her way to make the guest house an enjoyable experience. I would definitely stay there again. I highly recommend Casita Sol Vista to any travelers looking for a quality, private setting in which to spend time away from home. You can’t go wrong!

Very Quaint, clean beautiful area

Our Vista Stay
We loved our stay in Vista and our VRBO accommodations. Our sweet "Casita" was just as described in the listing, even better. After a very long drive, we arrived to be greeted by a personalized welcome sign at the door. The pushbutton entry made keys unnecessary, which was so nice. This rental is large, with a good sized living room, bedroom and bathroom. The kitchenette and dining area are incorporated in with the living room area which made it so convenient. (Our host provided bottled water in the refrigerator, and snacks in the cupboard.) The decor is darling, and fits with the vibes of this beachy retreat. The bed is large and very comfortable, and all the linens were very high-end. Everything was spot-less and our host was very good at making us feel comfortable through her thorough and informative emails. This rental is a short commute to the beach, and the town of Vista has plenty of shopping, restaurants, etc. We were so happy with our visit at this quiet and restful home away from home, and know you will be also.

Alta Vista Gem
Debra's apartment is an ideal base for exploring North San Diego County. It is very comfortable, efficient, and quiet; perfect for a couple to relax in after a trip to the beach. The rooms are exquisitely decorated with local themes and appointments. The king size bed is a bit soft for us but we slept very well. The only thing the accommodation lacks is a walk-in shower for big guys like me, however the tub/shower is larger than most so it served the function well. We have family in the area and will return to Debra's place. XLNT value!!

Amazing place to stay and enjoy the beautiful Alta Vista
We stayed in this place for more than a week, very clean, very convenient and cozy. We really liked it. We did not have any problem during our stay at all and enjoyed our stay there. Awesome stay!
The villa is super cute and super clean! It has all the amenities you could possibly think of. Debra is super nice and responsive and she has great taste! It's decorated so cute! The king size bed is super comfortable and the linens are super soft and cozy. I loved reading on the comfy daybed surrounded by pillows. We loved how quiet is was there and the neighborhood is really nice. I highly recommend staying here!!!

What a great place!

Perfect getaway spot
Attentive but not intrusive hosts. ONE parking spot- honor their request, they live there full time and we are guests. Close but removed from all you want to do, see, and explore with a not too-far trip home. Sweet town, great neighborhood. Very comfortable accommodations for 2-3 people (and a couple of little ones, which was our original plan).

Perfect escape
My wife and I returned to Vista for my Mom's 80th. We normally stay with family but decided we needed a place to be by ourselves. While family was busy with their normal lives we played tourist in our hometown. Weather was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay. Location and accommodations were perfect. I think we found our spot for future returns to Vista

Casita Sol Vista is as cozy and adorable as pictured! We had the best stay! Debra has put a lot of care into every detail of this space. Everything is labeled, the kitchen is stocked with cookware, the curtains are blackout, there are nightlights, the couch is nap-worthy...we felt secure and peaceful the entire visit. This gem feels tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but has quick access to the freeway. It took only 15-20 minutes to drive to Legoland or the beach. Historic downtown Vista was only a few minutes away, too, and is adorable! Don't hesitate to stay here!

Beautiful property away from crowds
Though a little hard to find, it was very clean and comfortable for a couple. Owner was very helpful in all areas. AC is controlled for entire house so difficult to set for our needs in our connected apartment. Parking was accessible with ease. Nearest grocery store just went out of business so have to travel a bit farther for stocking for meals made in the unit. Kitchenette is small but convenient. Bathroom is bright and cheerful. A short drive to beach but use GPS always.

Excellent Communication and clean
Great overall communication. Pros: easy check in. Clean. Comfy beds. Spacious bathroom. Cons: you don’t have control over the a/c. For us not too big of a deal- I asked for a/c to be turned on due to it being hot and host did turn down a tad. But next communication encouraged us to use a fan. Fortunately it wasn’t too hot but may be an issue if temperature was hot.. maybe not. Internet connection TERRIBLE. Hey, if you just want to escape and get away this would be fine! But I had zoom meetings and I could not do in the house (connection poor) cell phone service very poor. I tried sending photo from house via text but wouldn’t send due to weak signal. Not a huge deal if that’s not important to you. If you’re eating meals table seats two- we cooked so found very little space to do this YET if you do take out it’s not an issue. Not great circulation - it felt cavelike minus the plethora of fake plants/ the plants looked real but there was an over abundance for my liking. I would not stay here again but only because I cook when I’m gone for business and I need a strong internet/cell connection. And I like air flow and be able to control the a/c.

Thank you for your review. The comfort of our guests is our number one priority. Having said that, communication about any issues would have been met and taken care of immediately. We were not aware of the items that you mention in your review. We gladly adjusted the temperature to a cool 69 degrees when you requested, but were not aware of further issues as nothing else was said regarding the temperature. The fan was mentioned to help circulate the air, but not as a substitute to lowering the HVAC temperature. We've posted a total of 50 photos of the guest house so our guests are aware of what to expect as far as the furnishings and decor. We also list the square footage so our guest are aware of the size of the guest house. The tasteful decor is clearly depicted in the listing photos. The internet speed is also disclosed in our listing. Had we known there was issues with internet speed, we could have provided an internet booster. Communication is key and we are committed to do what it takes to make our guests happy. I hope that you will consider giving us another opportunity to show you how much we care about our guests!

Adorable little apartment
Debra is a fantastic host. She was flexible and very helpful when we left something important behind. She made sure it got back to us. The only downside for us was the tiny space for doing some cooking, but we tend to do a lot of it even when we travel. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment is well located to get to town. We would stay here again.
