Gorgeous property within the old city walls. Easy to walk to restaurants, stores, and attractions. Breakfast and pool/ spa were fantastic l. Stayed in winter, was very quiet, I assume it is busier in summer. Booked a family room with bunk bed, loved having the extra space and privacy.

Great stay in Gotland

Place was great. Located perfectly within the fort walls of Visby. Able to walk to most everything. You can rent bikes also from them. Staff was wonderful, so friendly and helpful.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this hotel. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Our room was very comfortable from the beds to the nice sofa. The bathroom was spotless and in excellent repair. The heated floors were a bonus! We both loved the breakfast, which had a wide assortment of many local products. It’s fun knowing we are supporting the local farmers. The location of this hotel was perfect, with quick access to everything we wanted to see and do. It was just maybe a 3-minute walk to the Baltic Sea. Walking to Stora Torget took under 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was fine. However, I have a major beef with their customer service. Accommodation was prepaid via Expedia. They took my credit card info on check-in, put close to $1000 on it for potential extras but then did not cancel this on checkout. Impossible to contact the hotel. After 10 days, Expedia customer service managed to get the charges reversed(thank you Expedia) No apologies from hotel or Best Western . I would be in no rush to use this chain of hotels in the future

Charming. Converted from an old brewery. My wing felt like a mini villa, with greenhouse plants in and a water feature. Buffet breakfast is rich with an outstanding selection of meats, carbs, dairy, and fruits.

This hotel was not easy to find in the dark after your ferry arrives late. That said, we had a very helpful woman desk clerk who helped us get checked in late. The rooms are quite small, even smaller than what one finds in Swedish hotels. Parking was good, in several places, but it worked out for us. Food in the restaurant was very good, as was breakfast. So overall, a good experience for us in Visby at this hotel.

I liked the location and the details in the property. On the other hand, the room didn't seem that clean, there was a smell like of being old and not ventilated and the bathroom was outdated with not much water pressure. The indoor pool was small and had cold water so it was neither for swimming nor relaxing.

Det var superfin service, frukosten var jättebra, städningen var allt jag kan drömma om! Personalen var i världsklass. Det enda som fattades var att hålla rummen i bättre standard, vi hade VÄLDIGT dålig luftcirkulation så man fick en chock när man klev in i rummet, toalettdörren gick inte att stänga och golvet var chaskigt!! Bona gärna till rummet så det känns lyxigt som de allmäna utrymmena. Men återigen, PERSONALEN!!! WOW, älskar! De bytte rum så vi fick ett fungerande och mötte alla våra behov och mer! Vi hann inte med att bada i poolen men fick höra att den inte var uppvärmd till behagliga grader, vilket är ett MÅSTE om man har en inomhuspool. Tack för allt Strand Hotel!

Bra!

Bra hotell med väldigt vänlig personal i lobbyn. Bassängen är lite kall för mindre barn om man räknat med den som ”barnaktivitet”. God frukostbuffé. Mysigt ställe. Många var utrymmen att använda för t.ex sällskapsspel eller annat.
