"The Silver Legacy offers a Las Vegas experience at Reno prices without the less savory Vegas energy (pushy hotel staff snd solicitors trying to shill "free show tickets" and other nonsense). We live locally, outside Reno, and having had the Las Vegas experience several times, I'd much rather save the 6 hour drive or $200 flight and spend that money here. Between the Silver Legacy and the seamlessly connected Eldorado and Circus Circus, there was a fantastic assortment of bars and restaurants and other attractions easily accessible on foot. Parking was quick and easy (my friend used valet, who were fantastic. I self parked as I was traveling by motorcycle). The room was spacious, comfortable and clean with quality hotel amenities like a mini fridge and coffee maker - rarities in most casino hotel rooms. While it certainly is not an inexpensive Reno property, it was worth the expense."
