Great Accommodations in a Heavenly Hideaway
Jeremiah and Victoria are wonderful hosts, generously sharing their little slice of Heaven amid the hustle and bustle of the busy metropolitan area. The location is central to everything, an easy drive to the oceanfront, yet tucked into a sweet little pocket adjoining a nature preserve. With 2 acres of well-kept, open yet private land, a gazebo, a fire pit, and ample outdoor seating... it's the perfect place to relax and enjoy some down time. They have also generously provided beach equipment and games for guests to use. Accessibility is a major factor for us. This property has a flat entry and no stairs to navigate, with a wide, open great room. Even though it is a walkout terrace-level apartment in the hosts' home, it felt very private. Jeremiah was very open and engaging, very welcoming and available when needed, yet not intrusive at all. We felt very comfortable in this setting. We loved having the chickens close by, and we loved the half dozen eggs the hosts left on the table for us on arrival. We are from the Tidewater/Hampton Roads area originally and travel there to visit family/friends fairly often. We would definitely stay again, whenever we are not in our RV. We would highly recommend this property and appreciate the great stay!

Peaceful and relaxing
We rented to be close to our son and his family while visiting. We chose Seaboard because of its location, it was close to Sandbridge beach also. We loved how peaceful and quiet it was in the country. The fresh chicken eggs were a nice surprise and very appreciated. If we need someplace to stay again we would definitely rent from Shefields again.

It is a special place away from the busyness of virginia beach boardwalk, yet less than 20 minutes from tourist attractions. The owner takes excellent care of the property inside and out. If you are a bird watcher, this is your place. The owner is friendly, supportive, and thoughtful.

Stay here!!
This property is tucked away in a quiet, gorgeous part of VA Beach / Pungo. My wife and I booked it so that we can stay here while we held our wedding. It was a great choice. It's close enough to everything that you never feel like you can't go to whatever activity you have scheduled for the day. It's also far enough away that you don't have to deal with beach traffic or rowdy crowds and loud noise. The host was both super accommodating and also invisible. He made sure we had everything we needed but also never got in the way, intruded in any way, or made anything difficult. He was very understanding of people popping in and out for photos, hair, makeup, etc. for our wedding day as well! I'd highly recommend this spot to anyone. Next time around, we'll be staying here again!

Outstanding is an understatement. Everything you will ever need and more is at hand. The location is amazing, somehow quiet and peaceful in the middle of VB. Close to anything you need and the beach. It was nothing short of awesome, we will be back!!!

Peaceful stay just outside of the busy city
From beginning to end this was the best rental I have ever experienced. The owners were super accommodating and delightful to work with. The facility was clean and comfortable and everything we needed to have the vacation we wanted was available. The property chickens made the place feel even more like home as they clucked in the early morning and were often seen out and about snacking in the yard. I would stay here again and again and would recommend to all of my friends.

Quiet private get away!
Spacious, very clean, thoughtful extras to name a few. Everything you could think of for the beach for you to use, wine and of course fresh eggs from the chickens that stay tucked away on the property. We have a lab and there was plenty of room to release all of his energy for a peaceful nights sleep. Hosts were great, very friendly and letting us have time to ourselves to relax.

We booked three nights for my daughter's gymnastics competition. I wanted to stay away from the crowded beach area, and the Seaboard was perfect! My girls loved getting to feed the chickens, with the owner's permission, of course. There were lawn games, board games, and just about anything you could think of to have some nice down time as a family. My favorite part was having a relaxed environment in a gorgeous space, along with some fresh chicken eggs! We will be back!

A country vibe
Great place to relax with our dog! Seems like your in the country, however close to all the conveniences. Jeremiah and victoria are very gracious hosts! We love watching their little guy JJ wondering about. The chickens are fun to watch also! This is our second visit to visit with family in Va beach.

Great Spot and location!
Enjoyed the time! Was a quiet property that was shared with the owner but still had plenty of privacy. I really enjoyed watching their chickens roam around their backyard. Close to the beach and beautiful Pungo country trails! You get to experience the REAL Virginia Beach from here away from the tourist locations of the oceanfront. Owner was also accommodating to changes in the original reservation! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Very enjoyable trip!!
We arrived at the property and were greeted promptly by the property owner and his wife. They were both very friendly and gave us a brief overview of the accommodations and details on the closest beach and how to get there. The location was perfect even though you were only a few miles from the city. We sat outside at night and could only hear the crickets and an occasional owl. in the distance. I would definitely stay here again and would heartily recommend tp anyone thinking of staying in the area!!

My 3 adult children, dog and I had a great week long stay. We appreciated the extra touches such as rearranging our beds to fit our groups needs, the fresh eggs and wine! It was a big help having the beach chairs and towels there and not having to pack such bulky items. The owners were approachable and helpful. The house is an easy 10 min ride to the Sandbridge beaches. Everything went really well.

An excellent and comfortable place to stay. Quite and peaceful countryside setting but close to everything needed. Large yard to play in for kids. Has everything you need inside the kitchen to cook numerous types of meals or use the grills outdoors and the outdoor table. There is even a firepit and chair to relax under the stars! Recreation games and toys abound included with the rental and if you forgot something for the beach, don't worry they have all the basics for you. The owners are extremely personable and friendly willing to help you with questions and even make some suggestions for places to visit or eat! Serene setting
Our host was very helpful when we had to make a change because of a family illness. It was colder than expected so he was also helpful with space heaters in addition to the wall units. We loved the country setting that was also convenient to stores and restaurants. It was fun watching the chickens and walking around the property as azaleas were in bloom. It’s a quiet getaway nicely removed from the beachfront scene.

Great Virginia Beach VRBO
We did a longer term rental of this property (4months) while we searched and purchased our permenent location as we are new to Virginia Beach. The property was just as described and the owners are wonderful and very easy to work with. They always addressed any issues that may come up and are very friendly to be around and certainly respect your privacy and where never imposing. The location is very naturally beautiful with the acreage yet it is within 1.5 to 3 miles of every type of shopping and many many restaurants you would want. Also the distance to Sandbridge Beach is very convenient at about 5.5 miles. We and our 2 dogs had a wonderful experience here and the extra storage area and freezer and refrigerator in the garage really was convenient. Victoria and Jeremiah were great and we would highly recommend their property. Thank you!

My dog and I stayed with Jeremiah and Victoria for little over a month and they were the most gracious hosts. The place was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. Sea/Board Suite - Virginia Beach
Couldn't have picked a better place to spend our vacation while in Virginia Beach! The owners are very polite, gracious, courteous and we never even noticed if they were there or not as they left us to ourselves during our stay. Sea/Board Suite is hands down one of the BEST vacation rentals we've ever stayed at. It's beautiful inside and out! Clean, open (especially the land) & inviting spaces, but not staged like a museum where one would feel like we can't touch anything. On the contrary the owner(s) of this place have taken great care of this place to make it feel like home. Plenty of activities and amenities available for all to enjoy. Furthermore, they've paid great attention to detail & the pride of ownership really shows throughout the home. Overall we could not have been happier with our stay at the Sea/Board Suite! Cozy spot, nearby any place you need, w/small drive to the beach
This spot is great. Ton of open area to run around in, garage with spare games and balls to play with, and a very clean and comfy place that was exactly what I was looking for. Any place to eat or get grocery was around a 5 minute drive and sandbridge beach was a straight shot that took about 10-15 minutes. Owner was very welcoming and friendly! Hope to book here again!

"Great Place to Vacation in Virginia Beach "

Jeremiah is an awesome host. The check-in process was seamless. He was super helpful and even sent recommendations for activities. Our dog Swagger enjoyed the accommodations just as much as we did. Great Pet Friendly Small Group Getaway
Our stay at the Seaboard was delightful! Our party of four and one dog really enjoyed the amenities--the outdoor gazebo and fire pit, the garage with beach tools and darts, and the indoor living space was perfect for our group. We were also happy to have our dog with us and have a good place to walk her and entertain her. Communication with Jeremiah and instructions inside were all clear and concise. We would love to come back in the future!

Absolutely perfect!!
Jeremiah and Victoria were both absolutely wonderful to work with! Their place was the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed in with VRBO & Airbnb. The outdoor grilling, fire pit, seating and gazebo area was perfect! They even provide a washer and dryer! Their place is a short and easy drive to the Atlantic Ocean/beach. I will definitely booking this property again if I ever make it back to Virginia Beach!

I couldn't get over how clean the place was- it smelled so fresh from the minute we walked in the door. The hosts really thought of everything! Not only did they have cooking supplies, but the kitchen was supplied with coffee, tin foil, ice trays, grill utensils, cleaning supplies, etc. The bathroom had many fresh, soft towels as well as travel nessecities and full bottles of shampoo /conditioner/ body wash, etc. The beds were so comfy! The host also provided beach towels, sun shelter for the beach, washer/dryer and suggestions for local activities. We felt right at home!

Spectacular place!
The owner just keeps working hard to improve this already special place. Families with kids there is a ton of stuff to do near-by. Good restaurants near by and a wonderful home to come back to for relaxation. I highly recommend this wonderful VRBO rental!

A Hidden Gem
This is exactly the kind of rental I want on vacation. It was hidden enough that we didn’t have to contend with big traffic and it was quiet and peaceful, but also close to some great stuff! And within driving distance to everything else we could want to do. The inside was clean and cozy, and the outside was relaxing. My dog certainly enjoyed exploring the large backyard the entire time. It was pretty much private to us. Jeremiah is an excellent host as well! He gave us food suggestions and was overall just a pleasant, chill, no fuss dude. Also, I’ve stayed in a lot of condos, and the beds are usually trash, but this bed was pretty comfy. Actually, all the furniture was comfy. It was a picturesque week. Would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend to anyone :)

Jeremiah was a wonderful host, available to answer any questions we had. Wonderful details throughout the space. Comfortable furniture, kitchen well equipped. Had our dog with us and there was even a dog bed and bowls waiting for us. Jeremiah could not have been more accommodating.

Excellent Location. Did not have to travel more then 20 minutes to any where we planed to visit.
At first I was a little scared to Rent the Sea/Board due to the external picture of the unit and all the stairs involved. Upon further inquiry only the bottom of the unit is the rental. I found that the unit is very Handicap accessible and Pet friendly. everything you need for cooking inside and out has been provided and is in great condition. The Owner of the Unit lives in the House above and is very responsive to any problems that arise during your stay. Jeremiah is also extremely Knowledgeable of the area and willing to help you find anything you are looking for. Brian and Sandi
