This spacious beach condo, located in the oceanfront Sanctuary development, is aptly named Sound Waves for its breathtaking views of serene Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge from the extra-large private balcony. Plan to slow your pace upon arrival, relax in style and convenience, and enjoy stunning sunsets over the bay each evening. This resort-like complex is situated right on the beach in sunny Sandbridge, offering the most extensive amenities in the area. Step out your front door for near-instant access to one of three large sparkling pools.Surrounding the pools, you’ll find multiple Viking gas grilling stations and comfortable teak outdoor seating with umbrellas and tables. For those who prefer the sand, take a quick walk to dip your toes in the warm sand and cool Atlantic Ocean. My party arrived past noon on Thanksgiving of 2024\. Welcome packet envelope with all instructions and access keys and cards are inside the envelope which I pick on our way to the site from the check-in office which is nearby. Check out process is the same thing, very easy just drop off your keys in the same location. The unit is great and very family-oriented. We had a great stay. ##### Paul A. The size was great for our family of four. The location on the first floor right by the pool was also wonderful. We loved the proximity to the beach and the views of the back bay. The only thing that I would say is some of the finishing weren’t quite done(baseboards and paint were different colors in the kitchen and no baseboard in the master bath) and there was a lack of outdoor patio furniture. Didn’t love the thought of an extra cleaning fee for beach sand when the out door showers were turned off so there was no way to rinse off after leaving the beach. The pools were all closed but we didn’t know until we arrived and saw this. Overall we made the best and will book again for next year, just plan to bring those items with us. ##### Wendy S. The area that the complex was in was very enjoyable with 3 very close restaurants. My only concern was that the shower/tub combos in the condo were very high to get in. Safety is a huge concern for older folks and/or individuals with disabilities. Days and nights were cool. Not much was going on at the strip and because it was holiday, no shops were open. The pools and hot tubs were closed prior to our arrival. However, there were a number of bars and restaurants to go to in the vicinity. We found trivia night on a Tuesday, which was nice. There are go carts and putt putt as well. But if you want to do any horseback riding, make sure to get a reservation 2 to 3 weeks in advance of your trip. I’d suggest keeping the hot tub open until later in the year. ##### Brian M.
