"This is our 2nd year staying and absolutely love the place and location. Elizabethtown is 7 min away with restaurants and shopping. I would sit outside on the swing with my dad and enjoy the view. We saw deer in the pasture the other night! The grill works great! Thank you we definitely enjoyed our stay!!"

"We had a guys weekend away that included grilling out, playing games, and hanging out. There were a large group of us and the house fit our needs perfectly while giving us an atmosphere that we could relax in and enjoy the natural beauty of Rough River. Mitch was an excellent hose and super easy to work with. My whole group and I would highly recommend!"

"The house was very clean, the beds were very comftorable. There were 9 of us and it never felt crowded. The view was great. The screened in porch was nice. I really liked that the master bedroom was upstairs, and the kids had their own space downstairs. We would definately stay again at our next trip to that area."

"Loved the back deck area looking at river spent the mornings before we went places and the evenings once we came back on that deck. House is about 10 minutes from New Albany and 20 from Louisville. It was a peaceful quiet location to chill before we went to the National Archery tournament and other activities we packed in. Host was very helpful and and communicated very timely throughout the entire process."

"My wife, sister in law and niece stayed at this beautiful location while we went to the 150th Kentucky Oaks and Derby. The house was expertly supplied with all the necessary household items that make you feel at home. The remotes for the ceiling fans proved to be an entertaining experience. We would definitely stay at this location again."

"We had a wonderful stay. The house was located down a beautiful road, just outside of all of the chaos of the big city. The house was neat, clean and so cute! The yard was huge and perfect for playing with some outdoor games/toys that we brought along. Beds were comfortable and the whole house just felt cozy. "I think this was our fourth stay at Cedar Lodge.....and we love coming back to it. It's our first choice when we are in the area and need a place to stay. We were in town for a family wedding. My husband, our three adult kids and one significant other all stayed a various number of days. The cabin was clean, has everything we needed, close to family and the venue and in a beautiful location. Very peaceful and beautiful. Owners are very responsive to any concerns or questions. Power went out...

"Ashley’s communication and response time was top notch. We didn’t receive any check in or check out instructions, so I sent her a message and she responded within a few minutes each time. The bungalow is as described in the pictures and does have a small fenced in yard which was great for our dog."

"Communication with Joe was quick and easy. The house is beautiful and on an amazing piece of land. Plenty of room and amenities for our ladies’ group. Clean, well stocked, very comfy furniture and beds. The only con is all 3 bathrooms are upstairs via a narrow spiral staircase. (However, it is an easy walk around to the front door if you don’t want to use the stairs.) Several bedrooms are also upstairs in case you have those who can’t use them.
