Lift was out of order most of the time we were there, which was a major inconvenience for an elderly member of our group, and luggage transport. "Our group (2 couples and 1 teenager) enjoyed 3 days near Tours while staying at this spacious apartment. We spent 1 day kayaking and 1 day visiting Tours. You'll need a car to access this property, however, there is a grocery store and bakery for morning breakfast near-by (~10 minutes by car). The friendly host lives adjacent, so check-in was very easy. Thanks for a great stay!!"

"A ten minute stroll along a pleasant street takes you to the bridge. Cross it and you are at the foot of the delightful town of Blois. There are two small supermarkets on the street, and lovely walks along the river so east to spend days without driving anywhere. Also many, many beautiful towns and chateaux to visit within an hour's drive. The cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend."

"Loved that we could walk from the property into the city. The parking is along the street in front of the gîte, but we had no problem parking in front. We rented bikes for 3 days to bike the well marked trails, and were able to store the bikes on the property. The gîte was clean and had everything we needed. "Nice place right off the freeway. Good stay. Only complaint was the bed. Hard as a rock, and it squeeked hard like a donkey every time you moved. It was so loud and kept us awake much of the night. Staff were great and very helpful. I think we just got the bad room/bed. We would stay there again. "

"Simply put one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Beautiful grounds and hotel and the staff goes above and beyond for its guests. Highly recommend for anyone going to Loire Valley. Make sure you either rent a car or ask them to help coordinate taxis in advance of your trip since Ubers are not common"
