10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful and private property stay. My partner is a huge fan of trams and we loved the antique decor of the place. We made the excellent choice of staying in the winter amd getting to use the fireplace and provided Firewood. My only wish was a more comfortable couch by the fireplace "
"We had a lovely 3 night stay in a terrace room. Jackalope is a fantastic hotel with awesome staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them from the turn down service to the transfers to nearby restaurants. The room was spacious, very clean and wonderfully quiet for a great sleep in the very comfortable bed. The complimentary and restocked minibar is a nice bonus. If you want a night in, there's movies with popcorn and icecream.
On site breakfast is exceptional and very filling. They will happily accommodate any diet requirements off the menu too.
When you stay, don't forget to dine at Rare Hare and have a wine tasting.
I highly recommend Jackalope and we'll be back!"
"Great weekend was had by all guests. Fantastic outdoor area with the beautiful fireplace. Easy walk to the shops and pub. Would definitely come back!"
"We had a very enjoyable stay at this home. Enough bedrooms and extra lounge areas to listen to our Grandson's experiences after he Graduated from HMAS Cerberus. "
"The place was beautifully designed and well located. Having space in the surroundings and a well equipped house was a pleasant surprise. Because it poured all weekend, we would have loved some shelter near the house like an awning for example. The interior was clean and the modern design was easy to maintain. The stairs were a bit scary without a bannister and one of the hand holds was wobbly but it was fun to sleep on top of the house. The toilet was a compost well. Not my cup of tea but understandable, however more sawdust would have lessened the smell. Overall it was a lovely experience and I fully recommend the house for a stay in Mornington and surrounds."
