Delivered to the "taste of the day" at each of our passages in this beautiful region, we strive to bring all the comfort so that you feel "at home". You will be welcomed on the spot by people of confidence, who will help you in your installation. COZY APARTMENT in private chalet in VILLARD RECULAS ski area DES GRANDES ROUSSES (Ile au soleil). The Châlet is located in the middle of the village at 1500 m altitude and 120 m from the ski slopes. with breathtaking views and magnificent 180 ° in a family and picturesque village while being close to the great resort of Alpe d'Huez. In summer many hikes are available to you from the chalet or a few km. A large number of sports and family activities are available. On site the Tourist Office will inform you at best. this apartment which can receive 4 maximum 5 (if there is a child) has 1 entrance, a corner of storage, 1 room reads double and possibly 1 bed of extra in this room, the kitchen, the room to be lived with its bench convertible into a double bed. + a small mountain corner with a single bed. It has a large balcony facing south where you can relax on the deckchairs available. A beautiful solid wood table is installed for your meals as well. ADDITIONAL OPTION: RENT OF LINEN BED AND TOILET. Single bed: € 8 per bed for the stay. Double bed: 12 € per bed for the stay. Towels: 5 € per person for the stay. In short: -Good: View, location -Bad: Rude caretakers, false internet claims -Smelly: Potato smell in toilet We do not recommend this rental! More details below: First the good, the view is fantastic. The location is about half way up to the chairlift from the village below. Kitchen had everything we needed. Next the bad, starting with check-in there was nobody there to greet us which created confusion and delay on how to get in, which apartment was ours, where to park, etc, ... Before renting, we asked the owner how good/fast the internet was & he misrepresented it by saying it was normal. It is certainly not normal at all :-( Basically it is shared between all the apartments & the resulting speed day or night is 1-2Mbs! On our booking confirmation, it clearly says checkout is 11AM but the caretakers showed up, without masks, an hour early demanding we vacate the property so they could clean. This again caused confusion, delay and stress for us as we were still packing and cleaning up while they interrupted us more than once! The smelly is the toilet...OMG never in our lives have we smelled just an incredibly strong potato smell which means mold spores. It's a good thing we had our masks as we had to wear them just to go in there! There is a shared table/chairs on the photos in a common area which we never got to use as it was appropriated by one of the other chalets guests :-( The parking is quite confusing: There are only two official spots for 3-apartments down a steep incline about 50 steps below the chalet. You can however drive just behind the chalet on a gravel access road. According to the caretakers, this parking behind the chalet is only for unloading your bags. However, when we arrived there already 4 cars permanently parked, two below & two behind. So we literally had nowhere to unload our bags & nowhere to park :( There were some large stones placed awkwardly where if we rearranged the cars & the stones, we could fit 3 cars instead of 2\. So obviously we did this with the help of out chalet neighbours but apparently the caretakers were not happy with us!? In closing, if you still want to risk booking this chalet, you will get rude/pushy caretakers, slow internet, smelly/moldy toilet & nowhere to officially park. We would not recommend this chalet & will not be returning. ##### Peter D. Accueil parfait, emplacement top mais logement est sur -valorisé par les photos de présentation du logement. La terrasse est très agréable, la pièce à vivre à un canapé lit en sous pente qui sert aussi de couchage. la chambre est très étroite avec un lit en sous pente également peu accessible.
