Fabulous stay at Hotel Riu! The doorman and all the staff are exceptionally polite, fresh tasty breakfast and brilliant views from the 360 bar on the rooftop. Great location, easy to get to everything with good links with the metro. We had a great size room overlooking the fountain which was lovely and so comfortable. Definitely recommend a stay at Hotel Riu Plaza! The weather was amazing so we would of loved for the pool and terrace to be open but that just means we will have to visit again :)

Not a 4 star hotel. Small rooms, worn out and low quality towels, mediocre breakfast. Good location.

Probably the worst bed I have ever slept in — it was actually more comfortable to sleep on the floor. My whole family was surprised at how hard the beds were. Unfortunately, we also all suffered from food poisoning on the first day after eating at the restaurant and were very sick by the time we returned home. On a positive note, some of the staff were brilliant. They even sent me a piece of an amazing cheesecake for my birthday and were generally very helpful, although a couple of staff members had a poor attitude. Other than that, the hotel itself is beautiful. However, my last stay was nicer for some reason — the rooms were prettier, and the beds were better. When I asked, I was told that the beds had been changed since my last visit. The location is spectacular, and the lobby and small garden terrace are lovely. The tea and desserts are fantastic, but the main food could be better, especially for a Michelin guide restaurant.
