"We had the most wonderful stay at La Petite Mirabelle. Paul and Dawn, our hosts went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our holiday to the full - nothing was too much trouble. "Thé gite was a lovely home very well equipped with absolutely everything one could wish for. Loads of games to play and a beautiful swimming pool in front of the gite. Our hosts were friendly and very hospitable and available if needed but also respected the privacy of their guests. Thé gite is surrounded by fantastic vineyards… lots of wine tasting !! "We have stayed in a number of Gites in the Dordogne for a number of years now but this one is by far the best place we’ve stayed in. The location being 10 minutes drive to Bergerac airport and within easy access to the Bastide towns makes it an ideal base to explore the area. The property has everything you need and the manager, Chrystelle was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely return to Fontoursine again in future"

Wonderful views whichever way you looked, a lovely pond where I saw fish, frogs and water snakes! The owners Sarah and Tim are fantastic! Such lovely friendly people with a wealth of local knowledge! "Host played least in sight. Absolutely no communication before. Phone numbers didn't work. When he finally bothered to read the email sent to alert him that we were lost and would be late, he had already left- leaving no way to get keys. We were stranded, late at night, with no housing. No communication from him since. Bellvilla says VRBO has to resolve the issue. VRBO has not responded to any requests for assistance. DO NOT BOOK THIS STAY. IT'S A NIGHTMARE!"
