Good stop off for the ferry at Santander, limited eating near by Burger King etc but large supermarket next door handy. Breakfast well worth the €10 and good size parking spaces in the hotel car park.

We had stayed the previous night in the sister 5 star hotel in Madrid. Staff were not friendly or helpful. Arrived here and reception were amazing and so helpful could not fault anything.

I would not write a negative review because the staff was nice if it wasn’t because we were overcharged $150 for a tiny hot room with a small queen bed, no air conditioning, one window to an incredibly noisy patio, and talking about noise : you could hear the neighbor snoring, so thin the walls were. You went into the bedroom through a hallway were the luggage barely fit, and everything looked poorly built , including the elevator and the bumpy floor in the hallways. Everything needs some serious care. The nice staff tried hard to help and it balances somewhat the quality of the premises . Again I would not write if I didn’t feel we were so overcharged
