The separate fully equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing all your daily meals. In addition to crockery and essential utensils, the kitchen features a kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, oven, electric hob, fridge, dishwasher, and also includes a washing machine (in a convenient adjoining utility area) to help you with your daily routine.

The apartment has one bedroom with a serene atmosphere for resting. The bedroom is spacious and equipped with a comfortable double bed and a practical wardrobe to store your belongings.

The bathroom has all the amenities, including towels and toiletries for your convenience.

The space is always professionally cleaned.

This accommodation is located in the heart of Vila Franca do Campo, the picturesque and historic first capital of São Miguel Island. The energy of this neighbourhood is marked by an authentic tranquillity, with an unparalleled coastal and traditional charm. A short distance away, you can stroll along the beautiful Marina, savour the famous and delicious "Queijadas da Vila" at the local pastry shop, and take the boat to the iconic Ilhéu de Vila Franca — a stunning natural reserve in a submerged volcanic crater, perfect for unforgettable swimming and snorkelling in the crystal-clear Atlantic waters.

Despite offering a serene retreat, its strategic location on the south coast places the vibrant city of Ponta Delgada just about 20 to 25 minutes away by car. This fantastic proximity allows you to easily access the more cosmopolitan energy of the current capital, where you can explore iconic attractions such as the majestic Portas da Cidade, the Igreja Matriz, the Mercado da Graça, or embark on unforgettable whale and dolphin watching tours from the Portas do Mar.

In addition to its proximity to the capital, this address is undoubtedly the perfect central base for discovering the island's greatest tourist treasures. Heading east, you will quickly reach the mystical valley of Furnas, famous for its relaxing thermal pools, volcanic fumaroles and the iconic stew cooked underground. Nearby, you can also relax on the extensive sands of the wonderful Praia de Água d'Alto or easily cross the island northward to visit the city of Ribeira Grande, the surf coast and the breathtaking landscapes of Lagoa do Fogo.

Ponta Delgada Airport (João Paulo II) is approximately 20 to 25 minutes away by car. The most practical option for reaching the property is by taxi or private transfer, available at the airport.

Given the nature of the island and the property's location, we strongly recommend renting a car to explore São Miguel with complete freedom.

From here, you have easy access to some of the island's most emblematic spots, such as Lagoa das Furnas, Praia de Vila Franca and the famous Ilhéu de Vila Franca do Campo. The city of Ponta Delgada, with all its gastronomic, cultural and commercial offerings, is just about 20 minutes away by car.

This is a self check-in property and you will be asked to verify your identity before being able to check in to the apartment (15:00). We ask all guests to complete a registration form that will be sent after booking confirmation, in accordance with the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been violated (e.g. smell of tobacco, ash, cigarette butts, etc.), we reserve the right to charge a fee of at least €200 EUR.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use utility policy will apply with an included limit of €80.

For the first days, we provide the following basic amenities: small containers of shower gel, shampoo and soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, washing-up liquid and a bin bag.

Extra keys: €20 (extra set when possible, lost keys or door opening service).
Extra cleaning: price of one cleaning fee.
Extra linen: €30 (towels and sheets for 2 people, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
