Beautiful modern 2-bedroom semi-detached townhouse with sea views, a private pool, patio, garden and roof terrace is just a 2 minute walk to village restaurants and under 10 minutes' walk to the sandy blue flag beach at Burgau. Gates at the front entrance open into a large covered outer area from where the front door opens into a small hallway. Just inside the front door is a guest bathroom with a shower, toilet and wash hand basin, and stairs from the hall lead to the two bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. The delightful, bright living area has doors to the sunny patio and pool area where there are four sun loungers so you can soak up the sun beside the private pool. There is a charcoal BBQ and a patio table and four chairs for al fresco dining, or just to relax with a glass of some of the terrific local wines! The lounge has a comfy couch and armchair from where you can enjoy views of the pool and patio. There is a flat screen TV and a DVD player and the adjacent dining table has 6 dining chairs. A door from the living area leads to a separate, compact well-equipped kitchen which has an electric oven, ceramic hob, a microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, electric kettle, toaster and coffee maker. The kitchen opens onto the sunny patio and pool area and charcoal BBQ, close to the patio table & chairs. A stone staircase leads to the two en-suite bedrooms upstairs. First is the twin bedroom, which has a tiny veranda, built-in wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom with shower enclosure, hand basin and toilet. The Master Bedroom has a 5 ft bed, fitted wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom with whirlpool bath, shower, bidet and toilet. Doors from this bedroom open onto a sunny veranda overlooking the pool. The veranda has a sea view an a table and two chairs to relax with a coffee or glass of wine. From the upstairs corridor there is a glass door which leads to a private roof terrace. There is free wi fi and full air conditioning and the villa and pool are well maintained. Located on a quiet road with no through traffic, this lovely spacious, townhouse has free Wi Fi and full air conditioning. The villa and pool are well maintained and there is free parking at the front of the house, though a car is not necessary because everything in the village is within walking distance. Burgau village is a firm favourite holiday destination for lots of people, which is not surprising considering its fabulous Blue Flag Beach, delightful cobbled streets and low-key friendly atmosphere. It has so many excellent restaurants serving fresh local fish and meat dishes, Portuguese and ethnic fare and also take-out choices. There is also an ATM and a few small supermarkets, gift shops and a church. If you have a car then there is a fabulous coastline to explore with so many picture-postcard vistas of rugged cliffs and beautiful beaches and little harbours, while inland offers contrasting wooded hills, oak and cork forests, hillside villages, Monchique mountains and town with traditional handcrafts and foods, Silves with its huge intact Moorish fort and so much more to see! ## Property amenities ### Beach - The beach is sandy and has beautiful cliffs on either side. The townhouse was perfect for two couples, with plenty of room inside and outside for rest and relaxation. It was clean and well equipped. The location of the villa is ok probably 10minutes walk to the beach but it is steep coming coming back, the villa is also on quite a busy road and is pretty much opposite the Nova Beach Club, I mention this as the place does nice food and drink but also has live music, Saturday night was Texhnofunk night and finished at 4am so you can’t park your car and also you will get no sleep they have other live music nights as well which you can here from the villa. The villa itself looks a lot more tired than the photos show, all the bathrooms need upgrading & the kitchen is looking tired, on the upside the pool area is well kepr but it is cold. The cleanliness of the villa is nothing to right home about either the toilet & kitchen were not that clean & the lampshades in the bedroom were thick dust the whole place needs a proper deep clean. There is no welcome pack on arrival which is a bit annoying & no mod cons. For 300euros a night go somewhere else this place is not worth the money ##### Paul T. Everything about the villa was spot on, from the spaciousness to the pool (which we spent most of our time in!). We're so lucky to have found this place, as well as the beautiful village of Burgau right on our doorstep. The communication from the owners was great, and the booklet of advice and recommendations was a lovely touch. I would only say the kitchen could be a little better stocked in terms of things like salt, pepper, sugar and cooking oil etc, but we were able to source these ourselves and this did not detract from the wonderful experience we had. It is also great that you could barbecue on the terrace. Communication was smooth and all questions were answered quickly and easily. The house was cleaned once a week and there were new towels. The pool was also cleaned during our stay. Burgau as a village is very nice. There are many restaurants and bars. We would definitely come back. Parking was right outside and the villa is well fitted out. Because it was February unfortunately for us the pool was too cold. It is ideally located with a short walk to the beach. Lovely pool and outside patio area. Air con very effective and the place was very clean. Bed was a bit hard!
