We enjoyed a lovely overnight stay at the Ferrycarrig Hotel. The view from our room and the bar was fantastic. I happily had my coffee looking out over the River Slaney.
I think it's a place where one could easily spend a few relaxing days. The food in the Dry Dock Bar was lovely. There are a number of beaches within easy reach.

The room (143) was compact but everything I needed was there. The bed was super soft and comfortable with pillows the same. Tea and coffee making facilities were great. The room was beautifully clean and towels were soft and fluffy. At breakfast the staff were super attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them they worked efficiently diligently and with a great smile. I enjoyed three wonderful breakfasts and have to say I did over indulge because it was so nice. The pièce de résistance was the swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. I enjoyed using all of these each day before breakfast it was a great way to start the day. I will certainly recommend Treacys to my friends and look forward to staying again with you soon.
