"Had a good stay. Car needed as beach access is limited directly from property though there is a “ secret” beach a reasonable walk away. Food was good with quite large portions. Room and private patio and gardens were very good. Speaking some basic French would be very helpful to you though staff did their best and there were fluent English speakers around most of the time. You are definitely in France but the experience is worth it. "

And the listing clearly says microwave (there wasn’t one) and laundry facilities (there were but not for guest access). "Hotel was lovely, generally. Staff very friendly and hardworking Locality beautiful Breakfast lovely Evening buffet - food often luke warm Negatives Queues too long at beach bar - up to 30 minutes for a drink- desperately needs more staff as they were rushed off their feet. Reception needs a map of the area- had no idea that we could walk to other beaches from hotel until last day. (we had not hired a car) Not told we could do activities independently by reception. eg. We wanted to go whale watching - this is only available on a Sunday and were 'put off' doing it individually as it was 'so far away'. Turns out you can do in next town. Hotel really quiet one night - turns out there was a band in the next hotel - no information about this Toilet paper needs a hold in room bathrooms as sitting on the sink it gets splashed by taps - just a small thing!"
