"This was the perfect get away! The River was amazing and beautiful ! We could not have asked for a more perfect week. The house is well stocked and a. wonderful space for a romantic get away for two. our host Matthew was great! Define plans for another stay soon!"

"Me and my mother who is 86 had a wonderful stay. I wish one of the bathrooms in the shower was more handicap efficient and thought the layout of the living room was not senior citizen friendly me and my mom had a hard time seeing the TV with it so far away kitchen table in front of it was sort of weird with people sitting there so we did not go up there to watch TV but it started raining. also we are from the McKenzie River lived up their 50 years and I asked if I could have two people over for dinner and was told no that was a little disappointing. that we had to make other plans for dinner so we could be with other family members, but we did have a lovely visitor. A dog was lost and came on the property. We found their owner. Very lovely setting watching the fish and the Osprey. It was great."

"Without a doubt, one of the loveliest "time-capsule" honored facilities ever . . . a traditional, old-world McKenzie River home and it took us both back to our childhood family cabin stays as kids growing up. We both have lived and have seen the history of the area and we were both just thrilled with the post fire recovery, thankfully though, not in that immediate area. This is a must for anyone who wants to relive the pristinely kept bygone era of older architecture and preserved excellence, an ode to fishing, boating and rafting on the McKenzie River. Five stars from us . . . Lesli Degge & Jeffrey Prince"

"UpRiver Nest" - Cabin on the Mckenzie River in Oregon

"Clean and cozy cabin next with soothing river sounds when the windows are open. Great location for McKenzie river exploring and activities. The cabin is close to the highway. Later in the day the traffic dissipates. The fire pit location is outstanding. A trail on the property leads to the rivers edge. Fantastic water pressure in the shower. We would stay here again."
