Welcome to our newly renovated two-bedroom suite! Each bedroom features a queen-size bed, desk, and brand new ergonomic swivel chair, ensuring you have comfort and functionality. The fully equipped kitchen includes cookware, utensils, kettle, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster, as well as a cozy dining area. The modern bathroom with a hair dryer and in-suite laundry (washer and dryer) provide all the essentials for your stay. Please note that due to limited space, as shown in the provided photos, this listing does not have a separate living room, sofa, or TV. The available tableware and cookware are also shown in the photos.
The house is equipped with a central heat pump system, ensuring year-round comfort with both cooling in summer and heating in winter.
Located in the peaceful Gordon Head neighborhood, you’re just a 4-minute drive to PKOLS (Mt. Douglas Park) for hiking or beach access, and 6 minutes drive from UVIC. Public transportation is available within 200 meters, and free street parking is conveniently available in front of the house. (First come first served. Not assume liability for any damage or loss)

Perfect location and stay

If you want to be close to UVic to visit friends this is the perfect stay. It is very clean, with two bedrooms and comfortable beds, plus the communication with the host was great! 100% would recommend!

Good location

The property was clean, renovated. It was close to the University, the purpose of our trip to Victoria. The kitchen was basic, since we were staying one night and we only made breakfast the next morning.

We loved the location and proximity to Uvic. The home and backyard were beautifully manicured and clean. The walkway was nice and wide. Quiet neighborhood and convenient location to get into the city and back with a car. I would recommend setting out a brand new sponge to wash dishes with and to upgrade some the hand towels. Overall, it met our needs and we would stay here again.

Perfect for our needs

Jane is a great host

We had a great experience at the suite, it’s very big and Jane was always friendly and helpful. The suite is remodeled and everything works perfectly. It’s very nice and spacious. If I had had the heating control would be perfect.

Short Stay

My son and I stayed for a rowing weekend at Elk Lake. IT was a short 10 minute drive and very direct. The unit was quiet and very clean upon arrival. Owner was very responsive to our needs. The beds were comfortable and the in unit washer and dryer were a plus.

Clean, functional, easy drive to shopping & tourist sites

Nice suburban neighborhood, walking distance to beach access, bus stops and good coffee shop. Easy drive to Mt. Douglas Park with great hiking trails. Clean facility with comfortable beds and excellent shower, good washer and dryer. Kitchen supplies were limited – 1 pot, 1 pan, no mixing bowls. Instructions about recycling (i.e., what could be recycled and how the container system worked) and guidance for checkout would have been useful. Although space is limited, it would have been nice to have a larger dining room table and/or comfortable chairs to relax in at the end of the day.
