Jen is a fantastic host in an exceptional location in James Bay. Fischer house is beautiful and Jen is a fantastic cook and very helpful with travel tips up the island. Without question we will stay at Fisher House again.

This BnB is quite lovely. Well appointed and charming as it can get. Plus Jennifer, the proprietor, is so sweet and accommodating. The property is located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. It’s a find!!!

Amazing and lovely place!
We enjoy our stay at the Fisher house! The lovely decor and the charming bedroom really makes us feel comfortable. The location is amazing, 10 minutes walk from downtown and also 5 minutes from the gorgeous Beacon Hill park. The host is very nice and friendly. The breakfast was also great ! I recommend this place and we’ll be back some other time for sure.

Jenn was wonderful! And her home is lovely! Breakfast was terrific...and we loved the location! Once there we walked everywhere. We wished we could have stayed longer, but had to depart on the ferry, which is very close by. We look forward to staying there again in the future and exploring Victoria more!

This B and B is absolutely wonderful! The location was great for us as we parked the car and didn't need it till we left. Walked downtown, to the ocean, Fisherman's Wharf, etc. Coral was such an amazing hostess and was so kind and gracious. The breakfast was amazing and she respected our dietary needs. The bed was very comfy and the room was clean and nicely decorated. The one thing we didn't know was that the bathroom was across the hall. No problem as they provide a robe to use while in the short distance across the hall and we never did bump into the other guests. Just something to know. Would highly recommend this place!

Nice house with good dining area. Good breakfasts except was not keen on the stodgy pancakes. Our room was not an on-suite, but had a bathroom across the landing area. Quiet area with just a five minute walk to Victoria's Legislative building.

Jennifer was very warm and friendly host and excellent chef when it came time for morning breakfast. We loved the setting - the other guests and the good recommendations from Jennifer . The Irish Times Pub is a must see and must dine kinda place ... Enjoy

We had a wonderful stay at Fisher House. Location was great, close to local restaurants and downtown Victoria. Jennifer is an amazing host and very helpful to us with recommendations on things to see, places to dine etc. Jennifer's breakfasts were excellent and different every day. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. Thanks Jennifer and Cal!!

Best Breakfast EVER
My stay at Fisher House Bed and Breakfast was just perfect. First of all, the price was very reasonable. It was very conveniently located just a few blocks away from the ferry (10 minute walk). The house is well-maintained, clean, and cutely decorated. I stayed in Room #1 which had a balcony, private bathroom, and very comfortable King-size bed. I would highly recommend this room. But the best part of my stay? The BREAKFAST. Holy cannoli this may have been the best breakfast I've ever had. One morning we had frittata, the next day baked apple french toast, both days the entree was served with fruit, sausage, toast, coffee/tea, and juice.

Warm and welcoming owner and Sunday staff, beautiful home very accessible to Fisherman's Wharf and downtown area sites. Our queen bed and bath were very clean and comfortable. Charming home as a way to imagine living in Victoria in the early 1900s.

I booked the wrong night and they still found a way to squeeze me in. Gracious, period house filled with period pieces, comfortable, fabulous area and breakfast was phenomenal. I would stay here again in an instant.

Great B&B
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fisher House. The accommodations were lovely, the hosts were terrific, and our needs were met. We're vegetarians so the delicious breakfast was made for our non-meat needs. In addition, we were on a bike trip and had to leave earlier than breakfast would be served, but Jennifer made sure our breakfast was ready at our requested time of 7:30. We'll stay at Fisher House again.

We had a great experience here! The room was very comfortable, breakfasts were delicious, and the location makes it easy to walk to any number of attractions. We'd definitely stay here again!! Only cons I can think of: limited parking on-site (we had to park a block away, not a huge deal), and the private bathroom was not connected to our room, but accessed through a shared hallway.

Jen is very friendly and accommodating as proprietor The space in the B&B available to guests is really welcoming and comfortable. The location is fantastic for visiting most sites on foot, and there are pubs and food shopping nearby. And yet the neighbourhood is lovely and quiet.

Friendly and comfortable B&B with a homey feel
Jen (and Calvin) made us welcome. We had the private suite, which was comfortable and clean. The stately old house is a beautifully done inside, with ornate area rugs over wood floors. The residential neighborhood was quiet, and nestled close to the harbor and other attractions. Jen asked for suggestions for our breakfast, to suit our tastes a little better, and provided nice snacks and hot and cold drinks for later. A big plus at the Fisher House was the common dining table, where we met other couples from around the country (and from England!) who had their own stories of Vancouver Island and of their travels, and who offered suggestions for activities. A wonderful stay altogether!

We enjoyed a comfortable, homey vibe with convenient location and easy parking. Breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented in a lovely dining room. We stayed for four nights while attending a family reunion. It was the perfect base of operations!

The B&B is within walking distance of downtown Victoria and the Harbour. Very close to some excellent restaurants. Jennifer's breakfasts are awesome. The hosts are very knowledgeable of the area and very helpful with hints of where to go. Will definitely stay there again

It would be so much better if the breakfast was offered between 8:00 and 8:30 rather than only 8:30. Except for breakfast time, no one was around to ask questions to so be sure to ask at breakfast.

Our one complaint is we did not have our own bathroom ensuite. We had to walk across the hall to our bathroom. We were not aware of that when we booked the room.

Great B&B and Great Location
Nothing bad to say about the place. The owner/hostess was nice, friendly and very accommodating. She made excellent breakfast meals. Room was clean and overall comfortable. Location of the B&B is in a nice, quaint area, a few blocks from the ocean, the park and a quaint shopping area.
