I booked this hotel for my boss as our usual place didn't have accommodation at time of booking. The only positive thing my boss said was the view was nice (harbor view room). That was after he called me to say someone, apparently a hotel worker, just walked into his room without notice or even knocking. I would say the place is clean as I was told the whole hotel stunk of bleach. He said more but I'd rather not repeat it.

The hotel is an older hotel kept in good shape. The hotel is getting a new roof and fixing the outer walls. Was warned it would be noisy but I found it quiet during the night. I was out all day so didn't notice any noise. Room was clean and quiet. I faced the harbor so had a nice view. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed my stay very much.

The renovation have improved the hotel. No air-conditioning in rooms. They do supply a fan in the room. Elevator needs to be fixed, as it jerks when it stops.

Well loved waking up to the noise of the harbour. The sunny room large and airy room. And the view is beautiful Free coffee was great. We did get a surprise when construction guys walked by our window without anyone giving us a heads up..we were in 201. And there is no fan in the bathroom and we noticed that the paint bubbled in there. But all in all would definitely go there again.

Good location. The advertising of the actual hotel and harbour view was not realistic. The room was very small, the barroom was very small , one could hardly close the door. There was no fan in the bathroom. Music was fairy pound at 7:30 am on Saturday morning. . A little disappointing.

The room was a bit odd. Shower curtain far too close and would stick to me while showering. Step up into the bathroom was a bit tricky at night. Elevator was extremely small, hard to fit two of us with luggage. The location was absolutely perfect! Easy to get around. Great view of the harbour.

check in not informative at all ie where vending machine is dining area etc no info avaiable in room either when we did find the vending machine which is very small there was no water avaiable .....anywhere booking said we would have a city view we had a parking lot view Howeever our room was clean and quiet .

Loved the top floor corner room! Two windows create a nice cross breeze. View of the harbour, comfortable bed. We’ll be booking this room for all future stays in Victoria.

We always come here when we come for a visit from up island. The management and staff genuinely care about customer service and go above and beyond. We prefer pet-friendly rooms and they have them aplenty. We continue to get great service from Eshu and from our new host, Eduardo. Thanks for making our birthday day a huge success.

Great location for exploring downtown Victoria! We were informed about not having air conditioning and did need to open the window to reduce temperature in our room at night. Minor inconvenience this time of year.
